it has legs shaped like those of a caterpillar, it doesn't have antennas and the end of its body are rounded

From your description it is not a worm but a larva of an immature insect. Without more detail of the insect it is impossible to determine its type or even its family. Where it was found, its head, antenna and other body characteristics are necessary. Or you could provide it the plant it was feeding on and wait for it to mature when it is much easier to classify.
