There is no set salary due to the fact that there are many different jobs that an entomologist can have. Teach at a college, work for the govt, work at a zoo/facility... there is just a wide range of pay that comes with that line of work.

Haven taken ento in college (majored in something different) I saw ento based jobs that started at 20,000 but I also saw some that started in the 50s. It really varies.

well if you work at a university ( one of my profs is an entomologist) then they make upwards of 100,000 a year easy, i dont know of any doctor of entomology that has a job in that field making only 20,000. thats what people who dont even have high school degrees make!
