Yep, woke up only to go downstairs to find a wierd spider in my dogs food bowl.

It is probably around a half inch to an inch big, brownish color, one of the balls (body) is brownish and the other is black and tanish strips. (Black, tan, black)

What do you think?

these things are not flat like centipedes or round like millipedes. the only thing they have in common with either species is that they have many legs and move remarkably fast.

We live where there are many wildlife animals; deers, wild turkeys, rabbits, quil, squirrels, skinks, etc. The deers come to my place on a regular basis. I have never hear them make a sound with their mouth. Sometimes one will chase away another deer, but they kick at each other.

I know what "car" is, but a Parrot can only know what "this" car is. I can think about "personhood" apart from any particular person, but a Gorilla can't really think about "Gorillahood"--it can only know other Gorillas it sees.

I have this tall nut tree in my front yard and there is a black squirrel I called HEY HEY who lives in the tree hole up on top. The last few times when she came down to get her walnut treats from me, her teats seem to be swollen, so I was wondering if she's either nursing or pregnant

I recently read somewhere that spiders like places to hide. Wood piles, clotes, basement, dark cracks and crevices. Well, yesterday there was a spider and a big long circle shaped web - going from my kitched table to my refridgerator, and the spiders just sitting there, out in the open. There is no where to hide where he was, it was just right out of the blue in the middle of the room where my fridge and my table is, rofl. He had a big butt. Why did he decide to make his web there, out in the open? Does anyone know? He's more prone to attacks, because my dad killed him.. xD

I am an amateur birder. Over the last decade or so, I have heard of more than 15 new species in NA, only one of which might have been newly discovered. The rest were split off from some existing species on grounds that sometime seemed arcane or subjective (such as "less than 20% of the respective populations interbreed")
