We live where there are many wildlife animals; deers, wild turkeys, rabbits, quil, squirrels, skinks, etc. The deers come to my place on a regular basis. I have never hear them make a sound with their mouth. Sometimes one will chase away another deer, but they kick at each other.

They make sound sort of like a snort, a fast exhaust of air through their nostrils. That is the only sound they make. Plus they have an extremely sensitve olefactory gland, more powerful that a bloodhound.

Not that I've ever heard of--if they did, there would probably be 'deer calls' for sale at the outfitter's store. Try shouting BAMBI, HERE BAMBI the next time a deer shows up, and see what happens. Good luck.

Yes deer make sounds. They will make a raspy moans, grunts, an odd 'barking' type sound, and weird bleating noises.
