You have a lot of good answers but the problem is in the question which makes the answers all wrong. Technically the daddy long legs is not classified as a spider. Just wanted to set you straight on that.

The Daddy Long Leg, also known as the Harvestman.
First, it is not even a spider.
Second, it is not poisonous, but then again, neither are spiders. Spiders are venomous, not poisonous. The Daddy Long Leg is neither. There is a difference between poison and venom.
The most venomous spider in the world is the Brazilian Wandering Spiders of the Amazon Jungles of South America. It's venom is highly toxic and it is very aggressive. Fortunately, it lives in sparsely populated areas.
Following closely behind in second is the Sydney Funnel Web Spider of Australia and New Zealand. These arachnids live in heavily populated areas and are considered the most dangerous, to humans, because of this.

No they are the most harmless arthropod ever.They are not spiders because they only have one body segment. The most poisonous spider is the black widow.Whoever told you this is dead wrong.

This claim is an urban legend that, when put to the test, shows it to only be a myth.
