I was one of a group of 14 - 15 year olds who helped lead Billy Smarts elephants through the streets of Bexley in the early 1960s. The girls got to sit on the elephants, the lads had to walk along with the elephants trunks on our shoulders. They didn't have equal opportunities in those days and I was much better looking than the girl sitting on my elephant. (Hope you're not reading this Caroline)

Yes. On holiday in Goa. In fact it was kind of cheating because the elephant had this wooden structure mounted on his back and you just sat on him like you were on a bus. It was quite weird once he started walking but very smooth, much smoother than you'd imagine.

Only on those rides for kids that the zoo gives, when I was a very little kid.
Been there, did that, have the family photos to prove that.

No I think i'd be to afraid to there are so high up. I'm not really afraid of heights i'm just afraid of falling from a very high place lol.

yes. we went to disney land, the san diego zoo and sea world. I think it was at the zoo that elepant rides were offered. interesting experience.
