I was just outside and while I was sitting on my porch three bats came out of no where and swooped down over my head. Since then, (about 30 minutes ago) they are flying like maniacs around my house and they won't go away. Two are chasing each other. I think they might be mating?? I have an attic and i am afraid that i might have bats. suggestions? What do you do to get rid of them, and are they bad for my house? Can they get inside? If they are outside they don't usually bother me too bad, but when they swoop down in front of my face about once every 10 seconds, it starts to creep me out. What about Rabies? Will they bite me? please help!!

Who would win a fight to the death?

A 5-9 185 lb man in reasonably good shape or a 115 lb male mountain lion. There is no element of surprise and no weapons. This is actually an important question, so cites are very welcome.

I am interested in donating money, but would rather have it be more personal. Is there any website or group that has you pay a certain amount, and then they give you information on the child/animal that you are helping.

I am planning to build a small chicken coop (4 X8') and the plans call for a plywood floor which I was thinking of covering with linoleum in the hopes that it may make it easier to clean, disinfect or powerwash.
Does anyone have any better ideas or reasons this would be a bad idea?

The test was done on Norwegian rats that were placed in water and the average rat would last about 10 min. and then drown. One of the rats was saved and was dried off and after a couple of mins., that same rat was placed back in the water and lasted in the water for over 17 hours.

Okay, in my science class we as supposed to figure out if these animal rumours are true or not and I am having a rought time finding anything about this myth. If you walk up to a daddy long legs and ask where the cows are, it will take one leg and point in the direction of the cows. I know it might sound weird, but a lot of these weird myths have actually ended up being true. Is is true or am I just having my legged pulled?
