The cat on my lap is wondering what you are talking about, sure humans are inferior to cats, but he says we are just about the same as monkeys. We share significant DNA with chimps (90% or more I think) so what is your definition of "so different"? We, also have about 50% of DNA in common with a banana as I recall, but I'll grant you significant differences there.

Why do you say that we are so different? We walk, we drink, we pee, we reproduce. We are probably more similar than different.

Why are birds so different from all other species?
Why are monotremes so different from all other species?
Why are tube worms so different from all other species?
