I apologize this may seem kind of morbid but I really am curious. I would assume they must cremate them in some way. I'm a huge animal lover and I just have wondered this.

I keep my room clean and tidy, and don't leave old food around. A group of maybe a dozen flies - fairly small, but definitely flies - have decided it's a good idea to buzz around the light-bulb fixture in the centre of the room in a big group.

What makes them gather there? It only started now that spring has come, and I don't want them hanging around. I also don't want to spray them with fly spray, since it's not great for people and I don't like killing.

I have taken to shooing them out the window, but it's tricky. They seem to regroup whenever my windows are open.

My room is at the top floor of our place, if that bears any relation on things...

I live in a rural area and yesterday as I walked to the store, on the boulevard across from my house there were approx. 60 - 80 robins on the ground feeding or in the trees. I've never seen this before, has anyone else?

And it seems there closest living relative is the hippo!

The linked article should answer a few of the fundamentalist criticisms of evolution.

I saw a person saying that dinosaurs still exist because they are reptiles and reptiles keep grown until they die. That person said that we can't see big reptiles because they can't live longer as they did before the Big Flood. Can anyone give me additional informations?

About an hour ago there was this bug flying around my room - I sprayed it with Raid wasp and fly killer and upon picking it up once dead I was trying to work out what it was. It was not a wasp - it was bigger, but smaller than a bumble bee. I am thinking it was a hornet except it was not yellow and black. It was more black and brown looking and it had a pointy tail. What was it, as I am not sure it was a hornet. I thought hornets were meant to be black and yellow like a bee/wasp.
