Zoology - June 2006

I'm going to start school soon and plan on studying Biology. I love animals and absolutely think they are very interesting to learn about. Now my question is should I continue on recieving my bachelors in Biology or Zoology? I know a BA in Zoology isn't very useful when trying to get jobs as apposed to BA in Biology. But I certainly think I'd be more interested in Zoology. Any Zoologist out there have adivce for me? Also what jobs have you gotten with either degree?

In my school they have a Pre-Vet program but it is a 3 years non-degree program, what should I do once I finish it??? Go directly to Vet School???

I'm thinking its some type of mutated black widow but it had some funky looking designes on its back that I can't describe. It was about 1 inch in lenth and all black except the markings i mentioned. I can't describe the markings on the back because I can't remember the details. The damn thing is long dead now but I sure hope there are no babies. I had my apartment spray for spiders, however, I live in southern Nevada. Any knowledge of such a spider?

Sometimes when I'm out in the woods and country I hear different-sounding caws. I know they were all American Crows. I was wondering if they were younger crows, or maybe they were old ones whose voices got desiccated over the years.

You know how they use long fake rubber hands for the snake to bite. Well what would happen if the snake kept biting the hand for an extremely long period of time and it's defense wasn't working anymore with the biting? I'm talking about like 40 bites or a whole hour of being harrassed by the rubber hand what would happen?
