ants are considered "ectotherms"...and thus take on the temp of the environment they are living in. If it is warm, they are warm. If it is cold, they are cold. (Cold blooded is an ancient term and outdated.)

Yup, knight is right. Ants, like all insects, are cold blooded, so their temperature will be approximately the temperature of the air around them, unless their is some heat source (rotting vegetation, sunshine, a heat lamp if they're really lucky or smart. )
