I found a pile of several hundred, perhaps several thousand, 1-3 millimeter in diameter yellow spheres in my backyard. They look like they could be eggs, but the shear volume of the pile seems to preclude any one creature having generated them. They are half opaque yellow and half clear. They squish when stepped on but the outer shell is not soft - it is firm like a ripe berry.

Some have popped open leaving nothing but an opaque yellow shell. They could be some sort of fertilizer granule? But I have no idea how they would have gotten there if they are. I took a large number - easily several hundred into my house in a jar for observation and as far as I can tell none of these spheres has done anything yet over the past several hours.

Any help would be great! Thank you!

I have observed that in rainy season, more number of bugs hover around white tubelights/ fluorescent lamps than the gloomy electric bulbs.

Why are bugs attracted to ANY kind of light? And why is white light preferred over yellow light?

Is my assumption true?

Is this a Stupid Question? If it is then YAY!! Yippy! 'cause I am trying to celebrate the "Ask a stupid Question Day".

I know the Tasmanian tiger is extinct. However, some people believe it is still lurking somewhere on the island.

I have just come into Tassie for business. I also like to go hiking in the wilderness. There is also a lot of wilderness in Tassie. If I should see a tiger, what should I do? Should I try to catch it. Is it dangerous? Please bear in mind the tiger is not like the normal tiger. It is only named as such. Do you think I can set traps for it? Just asking.

Just added the Tuft Titmouse to our birding list. There was a group of 6 of them at our feeders yesterday. My wife and I can't decide what we should call several of them (other than a flock). Tuft Titmouses' or Tuft Titmice? A bird person should be able to guide us with this one.
