Yes, they do... Kittens are born with no teeth. The nutrition they receive from the mother can affect oral development.
Cats, like people, have baby teeth then permanent teeth. The baby teeth will begin to erupt at about 3 weeks of age. Eruption times for the permanent teeth are influenced by breed, environment, nutrition, hormones, and season.A full set of baby teeth should be present in kittens by 6 weeks of age.
The permanent tooth bud will already be formed deep in the gum. This is also the ideal time to train a kitten to accept oral handling. By about 7 months of age, the permanent teeth are fully present.

Yes, they are called milk teeth. The useually lose them about 3 months.

Apparently it is normal, however I didn't know that and I've had cats all my life, so I guess you learn something new every day. Thanks for asking such a great question! I would never have considered it and probably freaked if I saw one of my cats lose a tooth.

yes, most mammels do,except rodents, but i,m not absolutely sure that rodents do so
