Fish have eye's that are adapted to see under water but what is there ability to see out of water?
Would a fish need corrective lenses to see properly?
Can fish hear out of water or would it be distorted?

how can i deter wasps from re building a nest on my house?

i removed a wasp nest from my house, unfortunatly they moved to another window and started to rebuild another nest is there anyway I can deter them from this and hope they move on else where

House Sparrows - diet and health?

Has anyone done any studies (Or know of any studies) about the relationship between diet and lifespan in the House Sparrow? (Passer domesticus)

I'm interested in whether inner city House Sparrows that eat mostly chips / fast food live any less longer, or are any less healthy than perhaps suburban sparrows which may have a more cereal/seed mix in their diet.

Just curious, as fast food is generally not good for us...!

Does any particular animal have eyes that zoom? Like camera zoom lenses?

Otherwise wouldn't those animals that can see thier prey a long way off have a problem seeing things nearer to them?

do hippos have rectums?

we were watching tv one night and i mentioned the fact that hippos get sunburned, my fiancee says to me " and they fart through their mouths cause they dont have rectums" I said yes they do so now i need to know so that i can prove my point. can you help me !!!! i know its a silly question.
