I think it is the Brazilian Wandering spider.
The Brazilian wandering spider is reputed to occasionally hide in clusters of bananas. As a result, any large spider appearing in a bunch of bananas should be treated with due care.

This spider is called the wandering spider because it wanders the jungle floor, rather than residing in a lair or maintaining a web. This attribute is another reason it is considered so dangerous. In densely populated areas, Phoneutria species usually search for cover and dark places to hide during daytime, and this may occur inside houses, clothes, cars, boots, boxes and log piles; thus generating accidents when near people.

The name Brazilian is given because this spider was discovered and documented in Amazonia. The antidote for their poison was developed by Carlos Chagas, in Brazil.

What is the Most Venomous Spider in the World?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It 's an age old question and I'm sure you'd like an answer, well here goes:

This is a rather difficult question to answer as there are actually a number of very venomous spiders in the world, all of which have caused human deaths (in some cases the reported cases are anecdotal rather than scientifically recorded).

Of those, the Black Widow Spider (Lactrodectus mactans) of North America is the most well known of the so-called deadly spiders. Other members of the Lactrodectus family are found throughout many temperate parts of the world, such as Australia where it is known as the Red Back spider and New Zealand where it is known as the Katipo spider.

The Sydney funnel spider (Atrax robustus) of Australia is often quoted as being the spider with the most dangerous venom.

On the other hand; according to the Guinness Book of Records the world’s most venomous spiders is the Brazilian wandering spider (Phoneutria nigriventer).

This spider is believed to have the most active neurotoxic venom of any living spider. Its venom is so potent that only 0.006mg (0.00000021oz) is sufficient to kill a mouse. ......................

This is a difficult to answer question, as most spiders' venom is not deadly to humans (no spiders venom can kill a human within minutes; death from spider venom is rare). Atrax robustus Is considered the world's deadliest, while Phoneutria nigriventer, also known as the Brazilian Wandering Spider is considered the most venomous. The myth that the Phalangium opilio, or Daddy-Long-Legs is the most poisonous spider is false. It is possible for Phalangium opilio to puncture human skin, but the bite would sting for no more than a few seconds.

It's the Brazilian Wandering Spider. Males are the biggest and have more venom then a female. So when mating season comes the male wanders into houses and looks for a female. So they become aggressive and bite more often. Daddy long legs don't have any toxic venom (they did a test on Mythbusters) Brown Recluses rarely kill people (I haven't heard of one death) But the venom leaves a large hole in the skin.

Please stop with the Daddy Long Legs...

It's not even a spider. It lacks deadly venom. The only danger it poses is for snails and slugs.

Anyway, it depends on what you mean by most venomous. Do you mean the most deadly by toxicity of the venom, or the amount of venom it releases when it bites? They are two different things.

A daddy long leg spider is the deadliest but its mouth is too small to bite a human. That is why it is not a threat to a human.
