Sirenians...Steller's Sea Cow is currently extinct...there's the dugong, West African manatee, Amazonian manatee, and West Indian manatee. The dugong is about 11 feet and weighs 2,200 pounds(1,000 kg). Its maximum recorded age is 73 years. The West Indian manatee can get to 12 and a half feet and weigh 3,000 pounds (1,400 kg). It lives 60 to 70 years. The Amazonian manatee is 9 feet and 1,100 pounds (480 kg). The West African manatee 10 or 11 feet and 3,000 pounds. Where they live can be seen as per their names. Yes, I do love manatees!

Yes. They taste great. I heard that Manatee Burgers are coming to a Burger King near you.
"Big....Floppy Manatee. You are big....you are slow...Swimming along the Florida canals getting mowed by motor boats....you taste so good with some ketchup and lettuce."

Yes I do like manatees. I love watching them swim and glide through the water. They are so big and so cool looking. I am glad god created such an amazing animal.

Well i guess they're ok animals, but whatever made anyone think they look like women...chris columbus and his boyband shd b hung for the insult!!! Had they spent so much time at sea that they 4got how women look?Unless the manatee has eveolved so much that it no longer looks like a female human being.

jim gaffagan has a hilarious comedy spot about them, where everyone calls them "sea cows" in a derrogatory way, and the manatee says, "I'm just big boned, and it's manatee, not sea cow." it's funny. but really, that's the oddest question i've ever seen on yahool answers!
