well, the thing is, great white sharks dive deep and attack from below. the alligator normally floats on the surface waiting to ambush it's prey. in this scenario the shark would swim up to the surface at great speed and strike the alligator pretty much biting it in half and that baby is a goner. shark wins.

Well i watch a show if a great white shark vs an alligator in animal planet about an great white shark vs. an alligator and find ouf if the fight each oher and who wins. I know a little bit of it because it was 3 years or 5 years ago. The battle started and the alligator attack on the side. And then the escaped in timee, but the alligator grab the shark with it's mouth to the shark mouth. Then, the alligator started using the death roll to the deep of the ocean, but a liitle and let him go and swim slowly away. Then, a blink of a eye the shark bit off the head or the heart side of the alligator and kill him or something and that what I can remember. And I knew that the shark won. So really the great white shark will win.

First of all, this scenario is impossible.
Great whites and Alligators do not share the same habitat.
Besides, alligators do not like salt water

If they DID meet, a great white would win
Despite the alligator having one of the most powerful bites in the animal kingdom, it has lots of weaknesses in the open ocean

1- it needs to go to the surface to breathe
2- not as fast or maneouverable as a great white
3- alligators and crocodilians have very low stamina, and build up lactic acid VERY quickly

a shark is more agile and much faster than a alligator.
and when it plunges to take the bite nothing can stop it. so the alligator is no match to a shark. so shark wins.

I think that would be a fair fight but I think the shark might be more agile in water than an alligator.

The alligator because it's in shallow water. The shark wouldn't be able to maneuver well.

an alligator because they are stronger and their jaws are really powerful. Alligators can go on land and water. That is their advantage.
