Will a taser work on you if you are wearing rubberboots? I know you can touch an electric fence if you're wearing rubber boots without being shocked.

Please, I really am interested in the answer of this question.

I do not want a whole load of people talking to me about God and the bible because I really am not interested.

My question is:

"Scientists: do they still view evolution as a theory, or has there now been enough evidence for them to view it as a fact?"

I am not bothered about individual opinions on the matter, or beliefs or a religious debate. I just want to know what scientists have discovered.

Thank you

I am doing an experiment on how fast certain pills dissolve in the body. I was planning on just putting the capsule in some water and watching the time, but then I realized that the body has acid and other stuff which probably has a major effect. What liquids can I use or mix together that would give me the closest result to that of the human system?

I know you can test voltage of a battery, but can you test how much of a battery is left?

One of my smoke alarms is "chirping", so I figured the battery is getting weak. However, when I hook it up to a battery tester I get 9.3 volts across the terminals. What is my smoke alarm doing to know this battery is weak?

After a skiing accident, your leg is in a cast and supported in a traction device, as shown in Figure 6-27. Find the magnitude of the force F exerted by the leg on the small pulley. (By Newton's third law, the small pulley exerts an equal and opposite force on the leg.) Let the mass m be 3.30 kg, and the angle be 29.0°.

When you take your 1200 kg car out for a spin, you go around a corner of radius 58.1 m with a speed of 15.8 m/s. The coefficient of static friction between the car and the road is 0.69. Assuming your car doesn't skid, what is the force exerted on it by static friction?

Please help. Neither I nor my study group can figure this one out.
