light could be of any color. White light is white, blue light is blue. Light u can see through ur eye is in the visible spectrum of sun's rays. Inside the visible spectrum, each color of light have their own wavelength.( violet 400nm, red 700nm). So by changing the wavelength you can produce different colours in light.

Is there anything called dark light. You can create darkness by covering a light source.

Light is any electromagnetic radiation within the human visible spectrum. A human would perceive as white any light which stimulated all three cone types equally. This could be done with 2 or 3 well chosen monochromatic sources, or with broad-spectrum sunlight.

light isn't actually white. the light you see is a blend of all the spectral colors, red orange yellow green blue indigo and violet. when it is mixed, it appears white to human eyes.

White is not actually a color by itself, but the mixture of main colors such as blue, green, and red. You just see white through your eyes.
