At the moment it is just on two of his toes and a patch on one hand. Anyone else had a young one get it? How did you treat/manage it and did they grow out of it eventually?

I have neighbors whose 3 year old boy has started saying dammit and "*****"... What should they do to get him to stop? Should they ignore him? Should they take away priveleges? I would like someone with some experience to answer this question please.

My son is 4, and has frequent reocurring leg cramps. They always happen at night, usually waking him and he is in tears. We give him Motrin, and It takes us 45 minutes of rubbing his legs before we can get him to calm down and go back to sleep. This happens maybe 3 out of 5 nights. Some nights when we know he has had a busy day with lots of physical activity, we give him Motrin even before he goes to bed.

Do any of you experience the same thing with your kids? Is this just growing pains? This has been happening for 7 months now. I think that having to give a kid warm baths and Motrin so often isn't normal.

Any help?

I have two children who will need to be watched for me to attend school. They have never had any babysitters besides family. This is not a option though for this. So I need to find out what are the best places for child care. Like daycare facilities, in-home or babysitter at your house and how is the best way to find good care takers. I am worried about making sure it is someone responsible and caring. Also I have looked into facilities that unless your children go full time. It is very expensive per hour and I am only needing a couple half days per week. Thank you for any advice.

My almost 18 month old gets extremely clingy when we go to family or friends houses. She wants to be held all the time and cries some times just from people looking at her(especially if she's already cranky). Even though she's familiar with the people at the house. At our house she's perfectly fine, even around the same people that she gets scared of otherwise. And at stores or public places she has no problems chatting with strangers. She learned to say hi and says it to everyone(and everything) we pass by. It wouldn't be such an issue, but people have started to give me a hard time. Accuse me of spoiling her and picking her up when ever she cries. Which is completely untrue. She definately has her fair share of time outs and temper tantrums. and I tell people this, but they're like" uh huh, yeah, sure you do". Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

Im a new nanny to an awesome 13 month old boy and I was just wondering if anyone had any good ideas on some local classes in Glendale, AZ that I could take him to during the day. He already attends a sign language class and I looked into Busy Bodies and
Pump It Up, but I cant think of much more. So if you have any ideas that would be great, thanks:) Oh also the sign language class that he goes to is really kinda far from us (3rd st and Bethany Home) so if anyone from this area or knows this area (85308 or around the area between 19th ave and Deer Valley to 67th ave and Thunderbird) could let me know of one thats maybe a little closer that would be great!

My niece just turned 3 & her parents have been divorced since she was 6 months old. She lives with her mom & sees her dad everyother weekend. She's a good kid but when she comes home from her dad's it's a nightmare. She talks back, throws fits, & won't listen. Her dad just filed for full custody & she stayed with him this weekend. She came home last night & was very quiet. Normally she's very active & talkitive. Today she got in trouble for fighting at day care which has never happened. Tonight she was told to go get a pullup & her pj's on & she lost it. She threw a fit & screamed for at least 30 minutes. Her mom tried to talk to her & she just cried. She finally went to get ready for bed I went in to help her & she didn't want to get dressed. I sat down on the floor & calmly asked her what was wrong she started crying again & told me that she didn't want her daddy. I asked her want she meant & she said she just wanted to live with her mom.
