Yes,they need to stay home until they get treatment.The doctor should have mentioned to you when it was safe to be around other children.

Everyone has pinwormsor parasites of some type beleive it or not. its gross i know but we do they dont make us sick often but when they do then they are discovered and then treatment is necessary. And children shouldnt be around others when they are discovered because kids will pass that around and being that these have been discovered chances are they are making the kid sick. keep the child home as much as you can until treament is started or whatever the doc recommends. YES. They MUST be kept home, unless you want all of the other kids to get sick - not to mention your provider! Don't take them to daycare until they are completely recovered!
