Pregnancy - November 2007

So I need some birth control pills, i know i can get them from planned parenthood, but can i just walk in, ask them for some...and walk out??


i need to know what they do. do you have to sign a bunch of crap? or does a doctor have to give you a check up?

Hello i need to know if anyone else has failed the first glucose challenge test with a result of 10.1 or higher not having eaten anything before the test but have passed the next 3 hour test. ?? I failed my first test my result was 10.1 but i had not eaten anything since the night before only had water and the drink they gave me . Also sugar was found in my urine at my last doctors appointment im doing the second OGTT test tomorrow morning what are the chances i will pass this test im so so so worried ...thanks everyone very much!!

My ovulation date is the 7th (which is today) and I was fertile the 3rd-7th. I had unprotected sex on the 3rd of this month and the 5th but my boyfriend pulled out before he came is there a possiblity I could still get pregnant even though he pulled out and why is that? also When would be a good time to test to make sure , give me a date please? thanks

sometimes i'm fine other times i'm uneasy when i'm around my friends new baby. and i have another friend who's having a baby next month. i don't know how i'm going to see her. i would like to meet her baby. when i had to take my friend who already has hers to the hospital during labor that made me feel better for awhile. then seeing the happy family together starting getting to me. i miscarried last year from a rape. i don't know what this is.

Hi I just found out I was pregnant yesterday and so far im fine besides the gas and constipation. Im sure im not more then a month pregnant or could be about 5 weeks not sure. Does this mean I won't get morning sickness I pray I don't? What month does it actually start or is there a certain time?

Also can anyone give me a good website to use to calculate how far I could be?

I went the the OBGYN yesterday and I am 14 wks pregnant. When they tried to hear the heartbeat using the dopler all they got was mine... They said my heartbeat was right beside the babys so they couldn't hear the babys... They did ultrasound and we seen the heart beating and the baby was moving and growing well... But since they did the external ultrasound I couldn't hear the heartbeat.... The doctor said that everything was fine and that sometimes they just can't pick up the babys heartbeat on the dopler.... The nurse said that 14wks is an "ify" age to hear the heartbeat on the dopler.... I trust my doctor and am not real worried I just was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.... I thought that maybe they couldn't hear it cause I am "chubby" (thats putting it nicely). I am 30-40lbs overweight.... Could this be it? Thanks SO much.... Oh yeah this is my first "bundle of joy".

P.S. Please NO scary stories! Thanks.....

39 weeks pregnant...i had my menbranes stripped a wwk and half ago i was 3cm short..i have alot of pelvic pain its pretty much hard to do anything..i really dont wana get induced..i tried sex..walking...nd rasberry tea and still nothing ..so someone said drink castor oil...i did bout an hour ago pretty gross...i took bout 4 tablespoons , is that good enough? will that make my labor start?

Im 15 weeks now but at 14 weeks and 2 days (100 sure of dates) my tech told me baby was a boy. The cord was between the legs and this is the pic she gave me. What are your thoughts?

I have 2 boys and a girl at home (5, 3, and 1) and this looked nothing like my boys ultrasounds.

Is this the cord she was seeing? Could baby still of had a nub at 14 weeks? For sure a boy? Thanks!!!!

I really want to know what this would be considered... Just plain sex or... would it be considered forced.

My ex/father of my child used to have sex with me while I was sleeping. The first time he told me, and said he just wanted to see if I would wake up, but the other times [he continued even though I told him that I did not want him to ever do that again and how i felt extremely violated] I woke up to him doing it and all he did was kind of laugh and say isnt it great to wake up like that. He knew how much I hated it and that I didnt want to have sex with him.
I dont know if it matters but we were both 17 at the time.

it was 4 days after the last day of my period and this guy and i got caught up in the moment while we were hooking up. we didn't have sex (i'm still a virgin) but his penis was near the openining of my vagina. there was no sperm, only pre-*** (if that) and it was only for a couple seconds. There is not much pain but very uncomfortable and groin hurts. baby was moving all evening and since my tummy became very tight about 30 mins ago the belly button has pushed out also tension in back. can this just be braxton hicks? also if baby was born this early can baby survive ok?

I have a couple questions :]

1. In early pregnancy (only a few weeks..) is it still ok to take still take hot baths?

2. Can dogs tell if your pregnant? (my dog started sniffing my stomach and lightly cuddleing up to it.. and softly digging a little?? i found it odd.. never been done before)<-dont laugh :P

3. When do you think i could have ovulated.. i started my pd oct. 17th... and i ended the 21st. I should be starting on the 18th. And I dont have one of those ovulation predictor tests. So much has been going on lately.. i just havent had time to get one.

Just because im late 6days which is not a long time they believe i having a baby. I dont wanna take a test because i dont think i am. Today i feel like my stuff is coming down so there you go im not. They really want to to. My mother in law has made me start taking vitiams and stuff. I think there going to be upset when they findout im not. What do you think?

The first child we had the doctor told us he couldn't tell what it was. The second and third we found out at the ultrasound. The last was our twins and we did the DNA test. We knew they were boys before we knew they were twins. We are trying again and this time I wonder if we should just wait till we have the baby. We have all boys and are trying for a girl. What do you all think?

Three months ago, I had sex with my boyfriend with protection. Four months ago, we had sex without. However, I've been on the pill since March (four months before no condom). Lately I've had weird crampy bloaty feelings and I feel nauseous sometimes after I eat. But, I've had my period each month and I don't have darker areolae, and I've always peed a lot. I've been on the pill continuously, and therefore can't take a hpt. I can't tell my parents that I think I'm pregnant, and am scared. Does it sound like I could be? Please help.

I had it Monday and the tech wouldnt let my husband come in she wouldnt let me see the screen or tell me nothing! She said they would fax it to my doctor, I called the doctor and the nurse said he wouldnt be in until Wednesday today,, So I have been going crazy waiting, I called at 10 this morning and then they tell me my doctor wont be in until next Tuesday!! I have called 3 times asking if a different doctor can read it, they say someone will call you back I havent recieved a call, why am I being treated like this? Is it possible for me to ask for the copy and bring it to some other doctor to read it to me?

My boyfried and I had protected sex (like we always do) last night. But a strange thing happend when he pulled out the condom base was half way off with some fluids inside .Then when I got up there was a big puddle that came out that was way more than usual. He says it was mines. I think it was his from the condom. Anyone have any similiar experiences like this one? Im worried about an uplanned pregnancy!
