Yes, your baby will survive just fine if born now. Both mine were born about 34 weeks, and I had had those shots to mature their lungs just in case, and they were dandy.

You might be having Braxton Hicks, for sure. Sounds like it to me. But time them anyway because if they get closer than 5 minutes apart, your little one might be on the way!

God bless you both, lots to be thankful for this holiday season.

Probably Braxton Hicks (practice) contractions. Do they go away if you change what you are doing? Like, if you were up moving around and sit down to relax, do they stop? Or vice versa, if you were resting and get up and walk do they stop? If they do not stop or they get worse when you change your activity level, you need to see your doctor. If change in activity makes them stop, it is highly likely they are just BH. Belly feels heavy cuz there's a baby in there, silly! LOL If you are truly concerned though, always always call your doctor. That's why they make the big bucks, they know a lot about this stuff and they are available for emergency phone calls all day and night.

Yes the baby could survive and be fine. Earliest baby to be born and live was at 19 weeks. however you need to check with your ob. call them. I could be braxton hicks, but that or contractions are not a constant for 30 min.

Sounds like some braxton hicks. My belly would get tight for entire days. It will feel heavy and hard though anyway. And you're back will hurt.

If you're concerned go to the ER and have them do a nonstress test to check for silent contractions.

This early your baby would be fine--probably would spend a little bit time in the NICU, but nothing would be serious.

I would call your doctor. It could be braxton hicks or not. Does it in waves?

I would call your Dr. My Dr. said that braxton hicks are fine, but if you are feeling tightening every 15 minutes or less or if it is lasting quite a while, to call her.

She should be fine
