Im 15 weeks now but at 14 weeks and 2 days (100 sure of dates) my tech told me baby was a boy. The cord was between the legs and this is the pic she gave me. What are your thoughts?
I have 2 boys and a girl at home (5, 3, and 1) and this looked nothing like my boys ultrasounds.
Is this the cord she was seeing? Could baby still of had a nub at 14 weeks? For sure a boy? Thanks!!!!

BABY#4- from what i understand they dont have testicals yet at 14 weeks? i never saw it anyway nor did she say anything...

I am no tech but it is too early to tell what the sex is. The gentials don't form until later...I'm not sure how much later but 14 weeks is too early to tell. Besides I agree that it looks too big to be a penis. Looks more like the cord.

i am not a tech but i have had 4 pregnancies and i have 2 boys 1 girl and another girl on the way and i would say that is a cord it is too big to be his thing and they don't actually look for the penis they look for the testicles
you may be right but it is also to my understanding that they can't tell the sex of a baby until at least 16 weeks but that all depends on the quality of the machine
and i looked at other sites and i am wrong you can see a penis and here is a clear pic of it and it doesn't look like yours there is a definite change in the thickness between the leg and the penis

i saw the cord on my ultra sound pics and it just looks like bubbles so i wouldn't think it was the cord i think its a boy but 14 weeks is really really early to tell and it does look funny but i saw my second son just like that with the legs and the butt and the penis in the middle like hes sitting on the ultra sound thing lol

Ive seen quite a few US pics... most frequently my sons... and that honestly doesnt look anything like my sons anatomy from any time during his development... lol.
Maybe get a second opinion?

that looks "really" big to be a penis-looks as thick as the legs; i definbately wouldn't rely on that answer...hopefully you'll have another at 20 weeks plus

i think its the tube cause that looks nothing like a boy but good luck!
