I have a couple questions :]

1. In early pregnancy (only a few weeks..) is it still ok to take still take hot baths?

2. Can dogs tell if your pregnant? (my dog started sniffing my stomach and lightly cuddleing up to it.. and softly digging a little?? i found it odd.. never been done before)<-dont laugh :P

3. When do you think i could have ovulated.. i started my pd oct. 17th... and i ended the 21st. I should be starting on the 18th. And I dont have one of those ovulation predictor tests. So much has been going on lately.. i just havent had time to get one.

Thank you all so much in advance!

1) Its especially important in the early part of pregnancy not to do things like be exposed to extreme heat all over your body, this is THE most formidable time for the baby. Nothing over 100 degrees.

2) Yes, my dog new before I did and went from being afraid of EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING, to protecting me from everyone and everything.

3) When you ovulate is up to your own body. Its not the same for every woman, and in some cases its different each month- and beyond that you can have fluke ovulations. Without an ultrasound theres no way of knowing. I got pregnant ON my period from a fluke ovulation. Go figure.

1.Take a hot bath while you can sit in a tub. Dont overdo. if you are used to soaking in steamy water for 30 min up to an hour than sorry, thats out of the question if you are pregnant. Technically a real hot bath is the same as the body reaction of a fever. Not a good thing if you were pregnant with a fever. Baths overall are okay. Late in pregnancy when the fetus is bigger your only option is the shower.2 Your dog can sniff a lot of things out.Maybe thats when you were ovulating. 3.Ovulation is supposed to occur right before your period. Each woman is different though.

1. hot baths are always okay in pregnancy, just not REALLY hot and not for too long. You do not want it to raise your body temperature.

2. some people think animals know, others think it's crazy.

3. if you are like most women, you ovulate 14 days after your period. So that would've put your ovulation right around Halloween. But, not all women ovulate the same, so hard to say. Ovulation predictor test is not what you need...if you think you're pregnant, you need a pregnancy test!

Good luck!
