and he went inside of me for like 5 seconds(without ejaculating) then pulled out and put on a condom then we had sex. Is there a chance that I could of gotten pregnant from precum while he was in me for those 5 seconds?

(sorry, this is kinda gross) I want to take a pregnancy test using first morning urine. I need to go out for the test after I use the bathroom. How should I "preserve" the urine? In the refridgerator? Will this affect the HCG levels? Please only serious answers. Thanks!

well... This is the argument we always have with my husband. We are going to start ttc next year (cause of money, my insurance will start and I will be done with my AA degree at least... I am 24 years old) and he says that if we ever have a boy he wants the boy to be name after him.... why??????????????? I don’t want to! Then you call your son and it sound like if you are calling your husband! They will both turn around! What you think?

I'm 20, unmarried, and a full-time nursing student, so I still have insurance through my parents. I live with my boyfriend, my baby's dad, and he has insurance through the hospital where he works. His insurance isn't too expensive for him, but if he were to add the baby onto his policy, the price would nealy double, taking almost half his paycheck every month. I work as much as I can parttime, but with taking fulltime classes, along with clinicals, there's no way I can work fulltime right now. We would be considered low-income, and I know my baby would be eligible for medicaid. I'm only 26 weeks along, but I really want to have everything arranged by the time he gets here. Who would I contact for more details about getting on it? We've never used any kind of supplemental assistance like this, so I really don't even know where to go. It's probably too early right now, but when would I need to start filling out the paperwork?? Thanks for your help!!!

I'll be exactly 19wks pregnant tomorrow. I went for my routine checkup this morning where i got weighed and the doc listened to the baby's heartbeat. It took her several minutes to hear the babys heartbeat. What we thought was the babys heartbeat at first turned out to be actually my pulse that we were hearing, which would explain why it was much slower than it should be. She kept trying and eventually did hear the babys heart beat. It was much faster than mine that we heard and just sounded different, so we knew it was the babys and not mine. She found it again to just reassure me before i left, so i would feel better about it. Has anyone had this experience where it took like 5min to find a heartbeat and like you heard yours too? lol Let me know ! Thanks!

p.s All the other times my doc heard the heartbeat right away...do you know why it might have taken longer this time? Do you think it was because of the baby was moving around when she pressed the device against my tummy.

hey, i have been trying to get pregnant for 7 years now i got it, the conception was on Oct 24th so im almost 3 weeks, the doctor said no to get to confident because in a normal case the first 3 months of pregnancy is very dangerous, i have been feeling some cramping sometimes is very hard sometimes isn't, but yesterday i had a little bid of blood (like water blood) just a little and now i have a brownish discharge, call the doc but she said sometimes thats normal, but i feel shes not very sure about this pregnancy. i feel really frustrated, i don't want to loose my baby, can someone tell me if that is really normal?? thanks

Me and my boyfriend were going out for 2 mouths now. everytime i see him we would have sex. but intell one day we were at his place and all of a studden we had sex. But then i ended up pregnant. If my parents know that i am pregnant they will kill me. they did not even know that i had a boyfriend and if they did they will kill me even more. What should i do?

We have tried some different ideas to bring labour on faster and the doctor tried that membranes thing as well and still nothing. The pain I get is crazy and you think you are having contractions but really your not. I am uncompfortable to the point were I am willing to try just about anything and everything to help. So does anyone have any idea to help?. If so then please let me know

I was wondering about those people who go into their prenatal appointments and are like 3 cm's dilated.... How far do you have to be dilated before you have to stay in the hospital/ be induced/ go into labor etc.... ?? Or is there even really such a thing??

Can she get any benefit from government or local healthy department? Also, I'd like to inquire the cost of delivering a baby without an insurance. I am 11 weeks pregnant and all i keep craving is alot of chinese and asian foods. Especially steamed rice and general tsos chicken. I know that chinese food is fattening but its all that ever sounds good. Must other food just grosses me out. So should i eat it anyways because i am craving it, or should i find something more healthy to eat and fource myself to eat it even though it grosses me out?

in the lower left of my abdimon.i have been back and forth to the hospital and they just check my babies heart beat and when he is fine they send me home.last night i was awake all night in agony. has anyone else experianced pains like this?

i had my period on the 21st of october, i then had unprotected sex on the 3rd, 4th and 10th of november, just took a preg test and from i what i can c it looks like a very faint line, more visable when held up 2 a light, the test i took was clear blue, my period is due on the 21st of nov and i have 31 day cycles, so the question is could i be preg or is it just wishfull thinking ?? forgot to add, my breasts feel heavy and i have been feeling very tired and have been moody of late.can any one eplain

I'm 3 months pregnant. Last month when I went for my first prenatal appointment they did a pap smear and they said it wasn't abnormal but I might have HPV. Next month they want to do a colposcopy and a biopsy. My doctor said it might cause bleeding but it's not going to cause a miscarriage. But if it does show that I have HPV they can't do anything to treat it until after I have the baby so is it even worth the chance of bleeding and the stress of worrying about having a miscarriage or should I just wait until after the baby is born.

Also, I had a pap smear in January 2007 and everything was fine, I have only been with one man since then and he's only been with me so how did I get the HPV

last week i took my daughter to the doctor and they took a urine sample and ran a pregnancy test,it came back positive,they then sent her for an ultrasound but nothing showed up because she wasnt far enough along to see anything yet(it has to be 5 wks before they can see anything)then when her dr got the ultrasound results back she called us for me to bring her in for blood work for testing.why would they do that?

I am 32 yo and have been married for 5 months, my husband and I get along very well. Yesterday morning I took a pregnancy test and it came out positive (took 2) I am so scared, we have wanted kids but do not feel like we are ready. Since yesterday I have been crying non stop, so stressed out, and do not know what to do. I know people would kill to be in this position, I have always wanted kids and still do, but the feelings that are going through me are so overwhelming and I have never felt like this before in my life. I am 7 weeks pregnant and have a great job which I have been at for 3.5 months. I have a felony charge ( grand theft 350.00) which I am currently serving probation for. My employer has not done a background check on me YET. I am not sure if she will, but she does it on other people and I am sure she will eventually do one on me. On my application i didn't put down that I was convicted of a crime b/c I had adjudication withheld and I never told her about the charge. So, since I do the payroll I am assuming that if she does a check I will get fired. what should I do? Should I wait and see if she ever does one or should I tell her about it? If I get fired its going to be impossible for me to find another job because of my background and because I am pregnant.

Is FAS classified as resulting from an envionmental hanzard, or by an infection? Due to the mother drinking, I would think it would be an environmental issue. What are your thoughts?

im about 5 days late on my period. i tested 3 days ago to have a negative test. i didnt get any symptoms when i was preggo with my son (hes 6 months old) until i was a week and a half late. my breasts are a bit sensitive. (could be oncoming period or pregnancy). last night we had sex before bed and i went to the bathroom and there was a bit of blood when i wiped. i thought i was starting my period so i put in a tampon. i changed it four hours later only to pull it out and realize it was NOT my period. there was nothing on the tampon, only what i had originally wiped off. to be honest, i was happy i saw that blood last night because like i said, we have a 6 month old and we're not prepared for another baby. i've talked about it with my husband and he says he doesnt think we can handle another baby and that he couldnt go through with adoption. so, in his mind, you know what that leaves. i am morally against it and could NEVER go that route. im scared that this might tear us apart if i am
