I am 11 weeks pregnant and all i keep craving is alot of chinese and asian foods. Especially steamed rice and general tsos chicken. I know that chinese food is fattening but its all that ever sounds good. Must other food just grosses me out. So should i eat it anyways because i am craving it, or should i find something more healthy to eat and fource myself to eat it even though it grosses me out?

Find a balance between the delicious chinese food and the healthier stuff that is important, too. Try making it at home, where you can control the ingredients to make it a bit healthier.

Steamed rice isn't that bad for you, especially if you get brown rise. General Tso's chicken on the other hand is not good for you at all, but if you are craving it then eating it once in a while won't harm you in anyway. Just try to keep that type of eating to a minimum.

Everything in moderation... Try to pick something with lots of veggies sometimes when you order Chinese and make sure you're eating as healthily as you can when you aren't eating Chinese. If you deprive yourself of your craving, it will make it worse. I craved Tuna subs from Subway and my doctor was pleased because of all the veggies but had me cut it down to 4 6" subs a week because of the mercury that can be in tuna. So you should also ask your doctor their opinion on it. But I don't see where it would hurt for you to indulge your cravings if you make certain to eat other healthy things.

Its OK to eat it....just ask for MSG free and maybe try some of the lighter Chinese dishes....I mean really how can a billion Chinese people be wrong. Certainly didn't hurt their ability to reproduce and they aren't really fat people in general.
I craved Mexican and fried chicken. My baby was healthy, can't say much for my waistline...But I'm not doing to horrible in losing the weight.
Mexican food was the ONLY thing that didn't give me heartburn...go figure.

I had the exact same problem in my first 3 months... i asked my doctor and she said "if you crave... just eat it.". After a while it will also make you sick so try something else. Make sure you at least try to get down some healthier foods because your body still needs them. Another trick I earned is try not to drink fluids while you are eating. They have a tendency to help out those sudden runs to the bathroom.Congrats!

because of an incredible style of scientific matters with my being pregnant i've got had to critically replace my weight loss plan. It replaced into soooo demanding until eventually now each and everything yet it is what worked for me. attempt to consume something it is like what you're yearning. as an occasion, there are multigrain chips accessible with a decrease sodium count style. or you should bake some skinny potato slices at homestead interior the oven with an incredible style of herbs and spices, or some chex mixture with only oil and spices. As for chocolate, get the remarkable stuff, it is going to fulfill the yearning plenty greater helpful than a elementary old waxy hershey's bar. additionally something that i got here upon to be useful. Get precisely what you're yearning and actually enjoy it, take those first couple of bites and REALLLY relish them. whilst the sensation of eating it stops feeling astounding-- end! That worked nicely for me, i got here upon that for the duration of elementary terms some chips or a spoonful or 2 of icecream might completely fulfill me if i finished and concept approximately it as a replace of only dispensing a extensive serving and eating it. Plus, then i did no longer experience disadvantaged on condition that i replaced into doing what i particularly felt like doing. good luck!

I remember at 11 weeks, it was a serios mission for me to eat anything at all! I would think. YES, eat it anyways, just fill up, and wait it out. Hopefully soon you'll have an expanded appetite. I know for me, I couldn't eat meat in the beginning, or meat off a bone, ewww, still grosses me out to think about, but bring it, haha!!
