I thought i remembered hearing it was bad to eat chinese food during pregnancy.. is this true?

i have no sign of labor soon>
i know wait wait wait!!!! so please dont waste your time writing that to me.
i just want advice and opinions.... and to vent i guess
i have no pressure, no contractions, no nothing!
may be i just dont know what pain is and its happening?
i do have back pain... its been on going for like 2 in a half weeks already. mostly during the night or evening.
my pelvis hurts but has been since month 3 so thats not unusual>>>>>
what do you all think? i hope and want to just wake up and BAM my water breaks and i loose my mucous plug and everything all at once. it sux just waiting and then not knowing.
im close to my due date but im just anxious and wondering since no sign of labor yet.... i dont even know if im dialated?
hopefully they check at my appt. on wednesday.
maybe i will just go into labor with contractions in my back?
man this baby is just too comfortable! lol

i was wondering if anyone has had problems when they have a bowl movement like it was very hard....i have never had any problems with my bowl movents and it hasnt been long enough for me to test i wont have my period til around the 25 of this month

I had an US today 17w2d and was told they are pretty sure its a girl but not 100%. They did point out her labia to me. At this far along how possible is it they are wrong? I already bought alot of pink!! I really wanted a girl and my family has never had a boy! I had a scan on Wed. and she said to wait till Monday but she could tell what it was. So I am pretty sure it was a girl.

I know that my last period began March 6th, so it makes sense that I would have been fertilized around March 20th and my due date is Dec 13th, (30 day cycle). In both my 20 wk ultrasound and 30 week ultrasound, my baby measured about 5 days small for these dates. I had sex on March 20th, so that is realistic. Today, at 35 wks 4 days, I am 2 cm dilated an 50% effaced and my doctor said her best guess is that my son will be born 14 to 17 days from now. There's no chance I could be pregnant from an unprotected sexual encounter in mid to late January, right? I had a period in February and March. I'm just so afraid I'll find out the January guy is the father even though it seems so unlikely.

Throughout my whole pregnancy, the baby pretty much had a regular routine where he would move a lot around the time I layed down to go to bed. I paid for a 3D ultrasound and had to do 2 sessions because he wouldn't move at all in the first one, and at the second one he did the same. Everyone is telling me that my baby is lazy and its not normal for him to be so inactive. When my sister was pregnant, her baby was sooo active and you could see which body parts were which. Her baby is the same way out of the tummy. Whenever I do feel him move and try to tell them to feel it, he stops. Lately I hardly ever feel him moving around. Is it normal?

He says being fat is just as tiring, as hard or harder than being pregnant and his back hurts, he can't bend over without getting out of breath, etc. How do I make him understand that my body is not only sustaining itself but also creating and sustaining another life and I am carrying around weight I am not used to, therefore straining my body daily?

The doctor told me to go get one but a lot of people tell me it's not safe when you're pregnant to get one. And why can't I get the normal and comfy one?

Hi everyone, I know people usually say that you do not start showing at this stage of pregnancy, but i haven't put on any weight but my stomach/abdomin has got much bigger.

I'm in my 32nd week of pregnancy. My baby is usually very active. But for the past few days I've experienced a great deal of decreased fetal movement. (I've tried many things to trigger movement, it only helps here and there).

The hospital I'm delivering at will not see me unless I have an emergency, and my regular OB/GYN is out this entire month so I'm having a late visit. (6 weeks it will have been since my last visit, and by this time I SHOULD be seeing her every 2 weeks). That doctors office will not assign me to any other doctor unless it's an emergency. I'm terrified of having a stillborn and I just want clarification that what I'm going through is normal. I want them to check on the baby through ultrasound or listen to the heart beat to make sure she's ok, but they won't do anything for me unless my water breaks or something. But what if something IS wrong and something happens to my baby before my next visit? (see the extended information)

I've heard a couple different places that you should avoid lunch meat (unless it's heated) and mayo. Like you can get a illness or something from it..my question is, if you can eat that just fine when you aren't pregnant, why is it more dangerous when you ARE pregnant? I don't see the harm in it. A good sandwich is healthy for you..esp if you don't use the mayo (i use Miracle Whip). Anyone know?

i had sex a couple of days ago we used a condom but afterwards the condom just fell off it wasn't inside of me or anything but is there anything to worry about getting pregnant since it just fell off does this mean something went wrong

I know this is going to probably sound stupid to some people...but is it still considered unprotected sex if you use the pull out method? He pulled out before he finished but it was probably 20 to 30 minutes before he did. Both of us are clean from anything(at least I trusted him when he said he is)...but I'm just wondering what the chances are I could have gotten pregnant. Him and I had never been together before. I just recently got divorced but my husband was the last man I had been with and I went off the pill back in February. He says that it's not as easy as I think to get pregnant. What do you guys think? Next time we will definitely use protection.

obviously this far on in my pregnancy (37wk) i have no choice but to sleep on my side,the thing is within 10 mins of me being on my side my hand starts to tingle and then getspins and needles,so i swap sides only for it to then happen in the other hand,ive tried placing my arms/hands in different positions but nothing stop's it.
This is happening every night and is driving me mad
has this happend to anyone else?
If so what was the cause,i mentioned it to the midwife but she said oh youve not long left now so just bare it.

I just thought it would be interesting to see what position you used when you conceived and if the baby ended up being a boy or a girl.

I'm 7 weeks and 6 days w/ baby #1 and we were in the missionary position, I obviously don't know what the baby is yet.

Also how accurate is the chinese calendar at predicting the sex? Did it work for you? And has anyone found one that goes younger than 18, i'm only 17, plz no rude comments.
