Birth control pills work by suppressing ovulation. If you had unprotected sex, the ejaculated sperm can live inside your body for 3-7 days. If the sperm do not find an egg to fertilize in that time, they will die. If you want to come off the Pill, but intend to continue having sexual relations, you will want to find an alternative form of birth control. A condom used with a spermicide can be quite effective. However, nothing but abstinence is 100% effective at preventing pregnancy, not even the Pill. My children are 28, 26, 23, and 10. Our 10 year old was conceived unexpectedly when I had been taking birth control pills for 11 years. If you had sex over a month ago and stop taking the Pill, as long as you are not sexually active, you will not get pregnant.

Your question makes absolutely no sense at ALL. I think you may saying you stopped taking birth control, but now someone has ejaculated in you and you want to kill the sperm. The answer to your question is NO. Birth control pills have absolutely no control over the sperm or what they do once inside your body. Their power is limited to the woman's reproductive capacity NOT the man's. Therefore, if you stopped taking the birth control pills and someone ejaculated in you, you can be pregnant. Taking a birth control pill will not change anything. In fact, studies indicate that taking birth control pills while pregnant have no harmful effects on the embryo so why would they be harmful to sperm??

You need to talk to the doctor who prescribed your birth control pills if you intend to stop taking them. But if you have not had sex in over a month, and if you do not intend to have sex again soon, or if you have planned another method of birth control, you can safely stop taking the pills.
Birth control pills do not kill sperm. They prevent you from ovulating, so you do not produce any eggs, and therefore you do not get pregnant when taking the pills.
Seriously, have a conversation about all of this with a nurse, your doctor, a counselor, someone you trust who can help you figure all this out. Best of luck.

Birth control pills don't work by killing sperm. It makes your body think that it is already pregnant to keep you from ovulating. Sperm only lives for up to 4 days.
