You need to increase your daily fiber intake and drink plenty of water. It will help keep your bowel movements regular. If it continues to be a problem, consult your doctor about it. Also, you can get a blood test done by your doctor and find out if you are pregnant much earlier than with a home pregnancy test.

Symptoms can start as early as implantation (which is 3 to 10 days), of course generally women do not start to feel symptoms until after their missed period and can start as late as never (not all women experience symptoms). Nausea/vomiting, frequent urintation, dizziness/faint, hunger, cravings, aversions, fatigue, darker areolas, sore/tender breasts, period-like cramps, bloating, moodiness, clear discharge, back aches, implantation bleeding, increase in acne (hormones), and feeling like you are. You can take a pregnancy test up to 5 days before your missed period, but keep in mind that some women never get positive hpt's even when they are in fact pregnant (not very common but it can happen). Blood tests are the only way to be 100% sure! I wish you the best of luck and I hope you conceive soon!

for some people, early pregnancy means a lot of changes. the most obvious ones are morning sickness, and washroom issues.. i had to pee a million times in a day when i was pregnant, from the first trimester all the way... and i had bowel problems, too.. the key is to make sure you eat right. eat lots of fibers..from fruits and veggies...they dont make you fat, they make you full and they're healthy, for you and the baby

Constipation is a very common effect of pregnancy. It is very normal to get and can last throughout the pregnancy if not taken care of. Eating lots of fibre and talking to your doc about prevention is important. Good luck :)

Um the only time i have problems with #2 is when i had to take my prenatal vitamins. They have lots of iron in them. Just eat things high in fiber. Like oatmeal or bran and drink lots of water!

well many people do get constipated during preg. but that doesnt start occurring until farther along. i don't think it has to do with the possible preg. i would just drink a little extra water, i know that helps : )
good luck though!

Have you been taking prenatal vitamins? They are a common culprit for constipation.
