It's pretty common, however frustrating it may be!!

Many women dialate early, sometimes as early as 28 weeks! And then...nothing. They don't budge, or if they do it's very slowwwwwly.

Just hold tight. Do lots of walking. Baby will be here relatively soon, regardless.

My sister dilated to 2 cm at 35 weeks and held there for a month.

Other people don't dilate at all before going into labour.

It's common to dialte in the last month. I was up to 5 cm before my youngest was born. Just relax, use these last weeks to get the last minute things done and rest. The fact you are dilating is a good sign so just hang in there.

yes. I was dialated for 2 weeks at 2cm before I went into labor. Its frustrating but walking is the best thing. It really helps bring on contractions and gets you ready for labor. I delivered on my due date and walked everyday. my delivery was a breeze.

I was dialted to 2 at 37 weeks, and dilated to 4 at 38 weeks. You can walk around for days or weeks. It will eventually happen

Yeah you can stay that way up to your due date or your baby can arrive any day. Relax. Your baby will come when he/she is ready. You can go as much as 2 weeks past your due date before having to be induced.

Hang in there! One day, possibly tomorrow, it will all just START!!!! The thing that started labor for both of my children was intercourse!! Like a charm! I was in the Hospital less than 24 hrs later both times!! But I feel your frustration!! Good Luck!!

Hate to tell you but you could walk around at 2cm for a month before you are due. Try to be patient. Your little one will be here when he/she is ready.

Good luck!

Patience, you will know when your contractions begin, they arent fun! If you try to speed it up try walking around alot or sex and masturbating, it worked for me
