Pregnancy - November 2007

I just found out I was pregnant when will I start to get pregnancy cravings? I am 6 weeks, and I thought I might have had a craving for a frosty!

Also I have always wondered what causes pregnant women to get cravings?

I would love to hear what every one els is craving? :)

really pregnant and it all happened so wierd which makes me wonder if she lied about being pregnant i have heard stories about tother ppl who have had one and hers just doesnt seem right she said that all she felt was like she had to use the badroom and when she wiped she saw blood but it was not a lot and she also said she didnt feel any pain. she said she drove herself to the hospital and she put on a pad just incase she bleed more but when she got to the H it was clean. she said that the doctor checked her and told her that she had a miscarriage and that she was going to have pregnancy hormones for a few weeks but after all this happend she was walking around like nothing happen so i just wondered if she was even pregnant is this even possible to miscarry with no pain and a bit of bleeding? Also her ultrasound picture looked kind of wierd all you coulds see was like this oval shaped medium sized black spot and she was a month is that how it looks? concerend she is my brothers GF...

I am really caught in between and I know that every person is different but I want to hear your genuine opinons should I find out during my 20 week ultrasound if we are to expect a boy or a girl?

I am a nursing mother of 2. I have a 2.5 year old and a 5 month old. The 5 month old I am nursing exclusively. I started menstruating when he was 2 months old, had my cycle again the next month, then have missed the 2 months since.

I did not restart my cycle until my first son was 15 months old so this is foreign territory to me.

As to be expected, I am on a hormonal roller coaster right now but, I am curious, can this be caused by hormones or is pregnancy the only explanation?

For obvious reasons, I just can't bring myself to buy a test yet ;)

I just got my blood work back and my hcg level is 75 so it places me at 2 weeks along. My last period was Oct 13th so I don't get it. I thought it would be a bigger number. It does say that non pregnant women have an hcg level of 5 or less. So I am pregnant but the numbers just are not jiving with me.

The first test was clearly a positive result. Both lines were very clear (1 for negative, 2 lines for positive). The next morning I took the same kind of test, and I think it was negative. The first line was very clear, the second, indicating pregnancy, was barely visible.

last period was 23rd september, all signs of pregnancy, tiredness especially and constantly needing to pee!! but 5 negative tests, blood test in a week, but stories woudl be great or opinions! TTC thankyou xx

im 35 weeks and 3 days and ive been feeling her pushing on top of my vagina (tmi..sorry).........and i feel tightening around my hips!! do contractions have 2 hurt??? what do they feel like??? my appetite has slowed down tremendously!

How may ultrasounds did you have during pregnancy? Were they just routine?

With my first child, I only had 1 unltrasound @ 18 weeks. I am 7 weeks pregnant with my second and already had an ultrasound @ 5 weeks. I was just wondering how many ultrasounds is the norm.

and yesterday that I went to the Dr. she said that it was nothing just to use monistat otc but still bothers me little bit and I'm scared since I had a miscarriage 6 mos ago...Does anybody know any home made remedie (I"m trying not to use any meds) Please help me...Thank you!

The farther along you get do you get more discharge? Im 36 wks and now when i wipe.. every now and then it will be more slimey and mucousy i guess you could say.. Sorry if TMI but Its not a differant color or smell its still clear snot looking. But i dont have it EVERY time i wipe. I was just wondering if increasing discharge was normal the closer you get to your due date?

I was very tired during my first trimester but felt more energized during most of my second trimester. I'm starting my third trimester in a couple days and I'm feeling very tired again! It's probably because I sleep worse than ever -- no position is comfortable anymore and I have to get up several times a night to pee! Any other moms experiencing third trimester fatigue?

okay, i think i understand it now. so when you lose your mucus plug does that mean you are starting to dialate and thats why it falls out? because if thats not what it means then i dont understand it .. lol

I just had a baby 10 weeks ago, he was planned. My hubby and I were using Condoms for birth control. I have just not gotten around to getting the depo shot (im not breast feeding) Well I have heard that you are more fertile right after having a baby, Last night the condom broke but he didnt finish.

Iknow you can get pg from pre-***. thats not my question, my question is has anyone else had anything like this happen and ended up pregnant? wondering how common it is?

Had my ultrasound today and the tech said that she thought it was a girl because she could not see anything like a boy, but it could be hidden by the legs. How many people had this happen and what did you end up having? I have a real tight budget and I do not know if we should start putting away girl clothes. I already have boy clothes from my son.

do routine blood tests at the hospital automatically check a woman's Hcg level for pregnancy? or do you have to request a special blood pregnancy test if you want to find out if you are pregnant or not?

I went to the doctor today and had been seeing her practitioner till today I am 38 weeks and well asked if she does an episiotomy if needed and she said no she doesn't. She would rather see 5 small tears then on large cut. This scares me as I have been told that my baby is large. What is it like to heal from a tear and what about afterwards when my husband and I can resume sexual activity. Will he be able to tell or it not be good for him anymore.
