Everyone is different. Go see your doctor and she will help you.

Your appetite has slowed down to prepare for laboring and birth.

The tightening you feel is probably the baby coming down all the way into the birth canal.

Contractions are unmistakable. (I think.... although there are stories of lucky women who didn't even know they were in labor... but I think that's a myth) You know that clenching that encases your entire uterus during an orgasm? That is what your first few contractions will feel like. They get stronger, harder and more universal (all over your hips, back and down your legs up your spine etc).

But contractions can start out as just back aches that come and go. Listen to your body.
Good luck!!

Contractions feel like your whole abdomen getting firm. My Braxton Hicks contractions did not hurt.

contractions to me felt like really bad cramps. Like spasms if you have ever experienced them. I had most of my contractions in my back. Hope this helps.

contractions don't have to hurt. keep a close monitor and if it gets too unbearable, call your dr. that happened to me w/my first pregnancy.
