Did any of you mothers develop some type of nail fungus after you had your baby? i got mine on my thumb, doesnt hurt or anything. I saw my dr already and he prescribed me lamisil and an ointment for the skin on my thumb. I was wondering how common this is...thanks.

i have read that there is a link between lack of early pregnancy symptoms and early miscarriage. i have also heard that a lot of times, a woman's very first pregnanct ends in miscarriage..has either of these things happened to you or someone you know of?

Five days ago I woke up with severe cramps, and there was blood everywhere. I must have lost at least a pint from "down there" and other...objects. I've been feeling faint and ill ever since. I am on the pill, but I'm retarded and had unprotected sex during the time my ovulation should have been. I would have been three weeks. I am terrified of going to a doctor, most of all telling my boyfriend. Any advice/experiences to share?

I'm 2 months pregnant with some SERIOUS morning sickness.... everyone keeps telling me it can't be that bad.... I'm a pretty tough girl but this is definetly hard for me. What advice can you provide?? any idea how much longer into the pregnancy untill it starts to go away? Is there any thing i can do for prevention???

My fix/six month pregnant friend is having trouble staying up for her classes. Are there any foods that would help her stay awake, safe the unhealthy alternatives like caffeine, which are bad for her unborn baby?

Any other pro-pregnancy food recommendations are good too.

I woked up this morning with blood on my underwear like it was my period. I got ready for work and then checked again making sure i was not bleeding and i was not. I did not bleed for the rest of the day and feel fine. Is this normal.

Long story short, ever since my daughter was born 5 months ago, I've been suffering from reoccurring headaches and an intense pain, like a stabbing, throbbing ache, in my left hip (it's not the syatic [spelling?] nerve) that will flare up and then fade in intensity, but remains fairly constant. I had a spinal with my c section and then an epidural to establish a blood patch after the spinal punctured my spinal cord and I started leaking fluid. Is it possible that the pain I feel still stems from the epidural or spinal? and if it does, how frequently does this happen to women and how did you resolve the issue? How can I get the pain to go away? Do I need to see my doctor? Thank you, any and all advice is much appreciated

I was lying down when i noticed that it was like the baby was very very low in my belly like it felt like he/she was just above my hairline was it the baby r something else. im 3cm dilated and 75% effaced. what are some things i can do to help me go into labor? i know having sex and walking are some of the best things. do they really work? what are some other safe things that will work? i dont want to try anything like castor oil

i have had thick mucus like discharge with a yellowish green tinge to it but its been goin on for weeks now on and off i have been having contractions now for 2 days drs said it was bh contractions but they hurt.. and still havent stopped in like 40 some hours.. they feel like strong menstural cramps i had an exam y day and i wasnt dilated at all.. could it still be my mucus plug or just a weird discharge? i mean it fits the description of a mucus plug but it didnt just come out once it comes out like once a day for like 3 weeks. i kno this i gross but it looks like green snot for a sinus infection...

When I was pregnant, I got sick, very very sick of a million things, specially food poisonings (even whil taking extra care in desinfecting everything, washing hands frequently, etc) and recurrent yeast infections (well not really recurring, it just never got away and got worse and worse), kidney infections, urinary tract infections, etc. and it all went away when my baby was born, what caused this?

every morning when I wake up and roll over or move to my other side I get this paaaiiinful cramping/stretching feeling in the bottom part of my stomach.. like, right above my crotch. I also get it during the day sometimes.
Why is this?
Can I do anything to avoid it?

Hi guys,
Silly question, but just wondering is it ok to squat while pregnant. It is just a comfy way of me sitting. I do it all the time. Only reason Im asking is because Ive heard that squatting can be used to bring on labour. Im no way near labour, but wanted to ensure it doesnt bring on a misscarriage. Pls dont laugh.

Hi, today i started having these muscle clenching tight pains it what I thought was my chest, but then I touched my breast and I realized that's what was making me hurt then I lifted my breast and got this horrible shooting pain through my left breast. Its not tingling its' just pain. I had this before and thought it was chest related so i went to the e.r. and they said nothing was wrong with my heart they did an ekg, echocardiogram, and x-ray, im 21 weeks pregnant and its weir because it only hurts my left breast not my right at all. Could this be heart related or is it most likely pregnancy related?

Ever since I had a pregnancy scare recently I can not get it off my mind. I feel like an idiot because OBVIOUSLY I am only 20 and the last thing I need in my unpredictable life is a baby! My mom had me when she was 18 which makes me think that is why my biological clock is off a little. I just want to know how to keep this thing from turning me into a baby making machine and ruining my life at such a young age. Oh and I already tried to take a baby for the weekend and I just liked it, it didn't make me think "oh no I can't handle that!" it just made me want one more! I am 31 weeks pregnant, my husband and I don't belong to a church. But we would like to have our baby baptised or christened catholic. Can you explaine what the differance is between the two. Also I'm not really sure about what i would have to do...i.e. do i have to belong to a church, will i have to make a donation, will I have to join the church, how much in advance will I have to plan it.
