nicewknd is wrong. You can have a monthly period while you are pregnant. You are not ovulating regularly, but your body is still producing and removing the blood lining.

My sister got her period the entire she was pregnant.

Talk to your doctor to make sure it isn't being caused by something else, but it is definately possible to keep getting it. My doctor even said that since my sister experienced it, I might too. I haven't though, and I'm almost 4 months along.

If its a normal flowing period I would go see the doctor. Sometimes its okay but most time its not. Its one of the first signs of miscarriage. Everytime I go to the doc they ask me if I am bleeding because its that important.

My wife was a "surprise" baby - her mother's periods did not stop until the 5th month. I have heard of several other cases where this happens.

It's rare, but it happens occasionally. There's a technical medical term for it.

My sister had her period the entire time she was pregnant. I hope that tells you something... she was also on the pill when she got pregnant. There's always that chance of pregnancy, so please stay updated with yourself and get tested for pregnancy every so often!!!
