Pregnancy weight is not always lost. It is hard to loose if you gain a bunch. The best is to watch what you eat so you don't gain to much. Then it will be easier. When you leave the hospital you will have only lost about 10 to 15 pounds. The baby plus a little for water weight. That's it.

Most women have trouble losing just the weight that they gained during pregnancy. A few lose more than hey gained. But, all in all, it just depends on how much you gained and what you gained.... as in was it muscle tissue or adipose tissue. It also depends on how you try to lose the weight. If you try to let it just happen, chances are that you are not going to lose the weight. But if you exercise and eat healthy, you will most likely lose any extra weight that you have no matter when you got it, during pregnancy or before.

Oh, and here's a tip: breastfeeding has been shown to aid in weight loss after pregnancy.

Hope I answered your question!!

The weight of the baby and placenta will fall off immediately, of course. You may be able to lose some of the weight without work, but you will need help after the first few pounds.

Its different with each woman during and after her pregnancy.

I went back down to the same weight, but iam smaller by my measurements.

Krystal is misinformed. I gained 50 pounds, and lost it all. My friend gained 60 and is smaller than before. A lot of it is just where you were when you started, and what you do after.

They say if you gain more then 15 - 25 pounds you may lose most if not all. If you gained more... I would say you might keep on the weight. This is what my doctor told me... who knows.

everyone is different and you might lose it all but a lot of people get stuck with a couple extra pounds and it can depend on the amount you gain and what it was gained on

I think it depends on the person. Everyones body is different in its own way. When my mother was pregnant with me at 15 and I am going on 20 now in December. She only looked like she carried me 2 months from the pictures I saw. So I guess it depends all on the person. I hoped that helped you
