Your cycle goes like this:
1. The first day of your period through to the last day, approx. 7 days.
2.Count 14 days from the first day of your cycle and that is when you ovulate, when your egg travels and you can get pregnant.
3. Count another 2 weeks and that is when your next period would start.
So, as you can see, since a pg test can show a positive result as early as the first day of your missed period, which is 2 weeks since implantation, it is totally possible. Sometimes implantation can take longer as well. All of this is a general guide, Google pregnancy calender so you can get a visual of the time line and definitely get some books like "What to expect when you're expecting" and "Pregnancy, birth and beyond". They answered a lot of my questions.

I don't know who told you 2 weeks, but to me that would say 4 weeks "pregnant," or 2 weeks after conception. "2 weeks pregnant" would technically be ovulation/conception time, and no test would be showing up positive yet.
hCG levels can vary widely from woman to woman, though, and they will be pretty low at this point. Keep in mind you are probably only a few days past implantation. As long as the numbers increase as quickly as they should, what the level is shouldn't matter.

If your last period was Oct. 13, you are actually 4 weeks pregnant. They go by the date of your last cycle. In all reality, the baby is only 2 weeks though. A little confusing. But yes you would get a positive. Congrats.

It sounds to me like you are 4 weeks pregnant...
My HCG level was 85 at 4 weeks pregnant, so yours sounds normal.
I'm not sure where you got the info that 75 puts you at 2 weeks pregnant?

you determine how far you are by your last period so that would make you about 4 weeks instead of 2 which would show up on a urine test.

What does it matter what the numbers are? You're pregnant, congrats. Make an appointment to see your Dr. He or She will be able to tell you how far along you are and if everything is okay. Good luck!
