do u have too tell him what it's for .. or just call make the appointment and he will do it when im there? and i ask him to do it.

The doctor won't test you for pregnancy unless you ask him to do it. It's not a routine test unless you're requesting to go on birth control.

you call up to ob or lab and they will make an appointment for you to get a blood test done. Then they will make an appointment for you to be seen by your ob. They always want to make sure you are pregnant before they start making ob appointments

I wouldn't call the family MD, I'd probably call my OB/Gyn first. They will set up the blood test for you, and usually you can get it at their office, or at a local lab or hospital, whatever is closest for you.

Call them and tell the nurse that you believe you may be pregnant and would like to be tested. That's all you have to say.

Tell them why you are coming in. What else would you say, "I have a cold and, oh, I might be pregnant." I don't have to go to my family doctor I just go straight to my OB/GYN.

usually you have to tell them what it's for when scheduling the appointment.
