I was very tired during my first trimester but felt more energized during most of my second trimester. I'm starting my third trimester in a couple days and I'm feeling very tired again! It's probably because I sleep worse than ever -- no position is comfortable anymore and I have to get up several times a night to pee! Any other moms experiencing third trimester fatigue?

Yes its impossible to get a solid nights sleep. You get cramps constantly.... the bathroom needs to have a bed installed next to the toilet... or possibly the bedroom needs a toilet installed in it. Hot flashes are no fun waking up in a pool of sweat and hoping its sweat and your water didnt break or you didnt pee the bed.

Yup lots of little cat naps and they dont help much when your tired.

Um... Vincent is full of S***!!! Big time! It's totally normal. Some women don't even get that boost in the second trimester. I live in GA too, I'm 25 weeks, an today was SOOOO freakin hot!! It was horrible and my son just wants to be outside all day!! My feet are so swollen I can't bend my ankles right now and I am super exhausted. Have not had the panic attacks, but def am tired and just feel crappy alot. I would talk to your doc about the anxiety.

I am going through the same thing, I felt so good a month or 2 ago and now that I am 28 1/2wks I am not getting a good nights sleep because I get up so much at night from not being comfortable or having to go pee. So I am right there with you but thank God it will all be over soon, at least with the baby here I can sleep on my tummy, after my c-section heals, lol. Good Luck!

Yep - I had third trimester fatigue during my first pregnancy. I think you're right - it has to do with the fact that its hard to get a good night's sleep. Along with that, you have to consider, you are getting bigger and bigger by the minute, and it is hard work carrying around that little sweetie inside of you! You are working harder at it every day. As far as having to go to the bathroom again, if you can, try to limit yourself to liquids only up until about dinner time. The less you drink before bedtime, the less you have to get up and go potty in the middle of the night. Just try to relax and put your feet up whenever you can. Good luck!

I did...I was exactly the same as you - tired in my first trimester, fine in my second and shattered again in my third. I had difficulty sleeping but I found that if I slept on my side with a nursing pillow around my tummy it helped. I was also at school right up until the day I delivered and was practically falling asleep in lessons.

Practically everyone does. Then nesting comes and a major surge of energy just before delivery. There is a lot of growth that takes place in the last trimester and it's very demanding on your body. Then, of course, there's the extra pressure on your bladder. It feels like the longest trimester, but you will soon have your baby :-)

I am definitely more tired in my third trimester than in my second. However, I am still trying to be superwoman. I just pay very close attention to my body because it will signal me when I need to take a break.

Prime example, I walk about 4 block (Washington DC downtown blocks) today with no problem but my body definitely let me know when I needed to sit down and rest.

Yes! I am 32 weeks pregnant and feel constantly tired at this point. It's getting harder to get a good night's sleep because my hips and back have been hurting (although pillows on either side of be and between my knees help), I get heartburn (particularly if I eat too close to bedtime), my bladder is constantly being kicked, and my baby does acrobatics at night. I remember this when I was pregnant with my daughter as well.

Usually the first trimester is the worst for me. But there are times (maybe baby is doing lots of growing, etc) but throughout the entire pregnancy there's lots of moments of fatigue.

yep! I am exhausted most of the time which isn't really good being a sahm of two. I am 33 weeks today and sleep is my new best friend when I can get it!
I think it has to do with the fact that baby is growing so rapidly again right now. I remember this phase with my other two pregnancies as well.
