Short of your body actually needing something, and producing a natural craving to meet that demand, I don't think cravings are an actual "symptom" of pregnancy that should be expected or, especially, relied upon. ;)
I've been pregnant five times, and while I might be *slightly* hungrier than usual (depending on the stage of pregnancy -- the first and last trimesters are notorious for depleting your appetite a bit, thanks to nausea or a general feeling of fullness), but I wouldn't say I've necessarily had an all-out craving ... especially for something I wouldn't normally eat! Aversions are certainly common. Certain smells or flavors have even been proven to exaggerate any nausea, not to mention simply tasting a bit different thanks to the changes in smell and taste that take place during most pregnancies. But general cravings are often limited to things you likely enjoyed pre-pregnancy -- salty (tuna or chips), sweet (fruit or ice cream), spicy (perhaps some hot wings? LOL), etc. Pregnant women are simply more apt to give in to these cravings ... and who would deny them it?! ;)
Also, I think some women feel they *should* be experiencing such things, and their mind is more than happy to oblige. Seriously, do you think all pregnant women are necessarily jonesing for a bowl of pickles and ice cream, or an entire can of sardines? Not likely, But it's an old wives' tale. A stereotype that many simply assume to be true.
That said, if you want a frosty, go get yourself a frosty! Nothing wrong with an occasional indulgence. And feel free to blame the "cravings," if you like. My husband is more than happy to bring home any dinner or treat I might have in mind, chalking it all up to "normal pregnancy symptoms." LOL I'm more than happy to let him keep believing the myth, in that case.

I remember being 8 weeks and craving nothing but orange juice. My husband even got out of bed at 2 in the morning to go to the gas station up the block from us to get me some. That craving soon dissapeared when I started getting heartburn, lol.Since the middle of my second trimester to as of recently I'm constantly craving my MIL's steak..she's my savior because if she knows I'm craving steak, shell rush to a supermarket and come home and make me a nice big juicy steak with potatoes and salad.YUMMY.
Before I even got pregnant,I heard pregnant women get cravings because there is something in that craving that your body wants or needs...that's just what I heard.

Cravings are caused by the excess hormones, so yes at 6 weeks you could begin to experience them, some women never do. My cravings depend on the day. At this very moment I am eating a plate of olives *shakes head*, but the other day I had to have a hot turkey sandwich from Eat 'n Park, and then there was the vanilla milkshake from mcdonalds the other night. Thankfully I have no strange combination cravings like pickles and ice cream, I love them both separately, but who could honestly eat that together??
Good Luck!

I started to get cravings at 6 weeks, and still get them at 11 weeks.. It's usually chocolate milk that I crave. Or apples.
Not real sure exactly what causes them... but in a few books I've read it says that your body craves nutrients/vitamins that it's lacking... so if you are craving milkshakes, you may be needing calcium, etc. Not sure how accurate that info is, it's just what I read.

As a Mum of 4 I never actually got cravings at all. But one time at 8 months pregnant, I woke my husband at 3 o'clock in the morning and asked him to make me Vegemite on toast. He got it for me, and when he hopped back into bed he asked if that was my first craving. Truthfully i said "No, but its the only time I'm going to be able to get you out of bed to make me breakfast" and it was! Married 23 years.
There are some that follow the thought that cravings are the body's instinctive need for a certain nutrient, and will crave whatever food that contains it. Some women crave ice, which is supposed to indicate an iron deficiency. But personally I think for most its just a chance to indulge themselves.

With my daughter, I craved turkey burgers, granny smith apples, and tomato sauce, 24/7 about 3 days before I missed my period until about 14 weeks. With this pregnancy only 4 weeks), I'm craving fish, fish, fish! But not just any fish - flaky snapper, mahi, mahi in lemon butter sauces.
I'm not sure why you have cravings, one theory that I heard was, the hormonal changes coupled with your body's nutritional deficiencies.

Ice cream!!! Cheese, orange juice, everything sweet, and around the end All I wanted was fruit. Made Hubby go get fruit baskets in the middle of the night ... my first weird craving was a strawberry sunday with mozzarella stix for breakfast. And I couldn't eat refried beans anymore cuz they tasted like dirt.

Now everyone can cure infertility using this natural remedy http://pregnancyhelps.info
infertility can run in the family and one of the first things the doctor asks you when you go to a fertility clinic is your family history regarding cases of infertility or other reproductive issues.
If infertility is caused by genetic disorder then it's not unusual that one of the kids (your mom) doesn't have it and another does (your aunt).
two months of trying is still to early to be concerned about the fact that you might be infertile and it's also quite early to go to a fertility specialist. Go to a regular Obgyb to get a closer insight and see what ways there are are to improve your fertility rate.
Also remove alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes from your life because they might influence your chances too. Stress is also a risk factor when it comes to infertility.
