I just had a baby 10 weeks ago, he was planned. My hubby and I were using Condoms for birth control. I have just not gotten around to getting the depo shot (im not breast feeding) Well I have heard that you are more fertile right after having a baby, Last night the condom broke but he didnt finish.
Iknow you can get pg from pre-***. thats not my question, my question is has anyone else had anything like this happen and ended up pregnant? wondering how common it is?

I got pregnant off pre -- 10 months PP...it probablly would have been sooner but i was BF-ing and didn't get a period until 6months PP. I was completely shocked to be pregnant again bc hubby and i were so busy w our new business that we hardly ever had sex! You really ARE more fertile the year after giving birth. I'm 6wks PP now and i'm on the pill AND i'm getting an IUD in a few months!
I wouldn't get the shot bc i know too many people that gained a ton of weight on it, but if you don't want another baby anytime soon, you should do something more than just a condom.

I had that happen 6 months after the birth of my first son. My doctor said for the first year after you have a baby you are super fertile... she wasnt kidding.

Yes you can I have had two friends of mine get preg that fast. Hell a relative of she got preg while still in the hospital for her first kid so here 2 kids are nine months apart.

i got caught 4 weeks after havin my first i know it was soon but my doc said when i was ready to have sex again i could as my birth ws straight forward and after bleedin stopped i ws fine so i did get caught very soon after again i used a condom and it too split so it is quite comon i guess

i had two children 11 months apart and then got pregnant again 4 months after my second was born.

I didn't have it happen to me, but my mom was pregnant with my sister when she went to her 6 week check-up after having my other sister

i was not on birthcontrol after my daughter was born in 05' and i did not get pregnant again until 8 months after and that one was miscarriaged.. it all depends on the person i think and your ovulation
