Pregnancy - November 2007

My girlfriend is married, 40, and 14 weeks pregnant. We live in Florida. For obvious reasons we want to terminate the pregnancy. Can anyone tell me approximately how much this is?

im feeling alot of pressure between my legs as if my hips are being spread apart from the inside also minimal fluid leakage and feeling of cramps like im getting my period. has anyone had this and can tell me what it might be? im 32 weeks with my second child if that changes anything.

I had a cseation 5.5 weeks ago. I stopped bleeding and felt back to normal at 4 weeks, and me and my husband decided to have sex. the first time was fine, the 2nd time made me feel really sore around the scare and made me crampy and its been 4 days and I still feel that way and have been getting creamy white discharge in the morning only. I was wondering if this was normal.

I have gestational diabetes, I have been on antibiotics for about a month now trying to get rid of a UTI, and I am also 37 weeks pregnant all of which contribute to a yeast infection. I went to the doctor, they said I have a yeast infection and I could use Monistat. I didn't know what the signs were as I have never had one.

Has anyone ever done this? What are the consequences of being so late in pregnancy? Any risk to the baby? Any other ideas?

Okay, so if I were pregnant, I would be anywhere from 17-19 weeks now, the problem is, I haven't shown up on a blood test pregnant. I've taken 5 blood tests, all say neg, I've even went as far as to have a quantitative test done. That was around 11-13 weeks and it was <1. My problem is, I've had a light period every month for the past 5 months but I'm on birth control. So, Friday night I took my 5th blood test, and a clearblue easy digital both negative, the c.b. easy-not pregnant. So,today I was thinking about it and wondered how the dig test works, so I took it apart and lo an behold-2 blue lines on a strip inside the test! What's that about? I'm really freaking out about this whole thing! I have a dr's appt on Wed, and I'm scared he's gonna tell me I'm prego!And before you ask what makes me think I am, I have had sore breasts, light periods, frequent urination, and worst of all, my cervix is open and soft! Which I know is a sign!! I'm so scared! Someone please tell me I can't be!

I had my membranes stripped on Friday.Im 38 weeks and 2 days I was a cm dialted, 90% effaced and the baby is fully engaged (has been for a month). Since Friday I have had a lot of pain in my right side where my cervix is. All day yesterday my vagina hurt really bad. It hurt to pee, cause there was so much pressure down there. Well at about 10:30 last night it started hurting even worse, and the right side of my back was hurting and moving to the front. I swore that this was it, that I was in labor because it was not getting any better and my vagina hurt so bad. Also, everytime I went to the bathroom I would have atleast a dime size piece of mucous. I decided I would rest before my contractions got so bad to where I had to go in. I rested for 2 hours and woke up with the pressure still there but no intense back pain.

Is this just one big false alarm? Can labor slow down and then come back?

What do you think is going on?

How do I give my friend a babyshower? I've never done it. She is expecting twins. I am her best friend and the only friend she has at the moment. I have only met her mom and she has a sister that lives out of state. I've never had a babyshower for myself since I met her recently. Can I still give her a babyshower if it's just the 2 of us?

I have been having symptoms like pregnancy...i've heard that they could be PMS symptoms, but they are not like the symptoms I always get. I'm extremely tired, constipated, mild cramping with no period, gassy, and now my breasts are starting to get sore. I took a First Response a week ago, with a negative. IT's now been a week and two days since I was due for my period (I'm never late) and I took another 1st Resp. today with a negative. Should I await my period or should I get a blood test? I'm afraid of having to pay for a test if I am just going to wind up with my period two hours later. :)

I found out last week tha tmy boyfriend was cheating on me. I had just lost my dog of 14 years and was already upset when I pried the truth out of him. Shocked, I walked out of his apartment and left. I havent spoken to him since Tuesday night, where I had a screaming match at him on the phone in which he informed me that it was only right since I had "done it to him" (we had been on a break from July-Sept, with no contact. I had engaged in oral sex with a male friend during hat time and had confided in my bf once we were back together) I think this is crap and I have given him a second chance already. It's been almost a week since we spoke and about two days since he stopped calling. Should I just keep ignroing him or what? Im afraid to talk to him since he has a way of manipulating me. I dont want to go back to him, he will cheat again, I know it. Plus, I might be pregnant. Im not really stressing over it, but I feel like my friends' advise is slightly biased...

Okay iam 5 weeks pregant in I do have periods in fact (oct-11-16)period heavy bleed but lasted 6 days never had a period lasted 6 days anyway the following per was nov 14 but instead it came early(a week early) why I don't know anywho I always feel nauseiated but don't vomit I feel so hungry but when I eat I want to throw up.when I have my period my breast do get sore no cramps,when I am off I feel supper sick with slighly cramps n I was woundering is it normal to have gas while pregnant in why do I feel these poping feelings n my stomach. My first was at 39 weeks, my second at near 42. Baby will come when SHE is ready but I'm hoping it won't be much longer :) They stopped 3-5 minute contractions at 35 + 2 and I've been havgin pretty steady although spaced out contractions again since last night along with other "prelabor" and early labor signs.
What was YOUR experience with second and third deliveries?

Has anyone given birth in one of those jacuzzi things? My Rabbi's wife is head nurse of maternity here at the hospital in my town, and she is going to set me up for one. It sounds interesting, so I wanted to hear stories from experience. I hear it makes it quicker and a little less painful to give birth? Another question, I've heard that during labor women lose control of their bowels? Is it true? One last question, if my doctor tells me I have to have a C-section, do I have to do that, or can I get other opinions from other doctors and make up my mind that way? I heard that the doctor I have will do just about anything to force women to have C-sections even if they don't really need them. At my first appointment, when I was 9 weeks along, the doctor told me I would probably have to have a C-section because I am a bigger girl, but I have known women bigger than me who have had vaginal births, so how true is his statement? Thanks for your answers, sorry if it's confusing!

yesterday had a little bit of discharge that was brownish and mucus like. It happened maybe 3 times when I went to the bathroom and hasn't happened again since. It wasn't a lot at all, but enough that it made me concerned. I'm only 32 weeks and I'm not sure what to do or if I should be worried??? Baby is moving a lot. My husband also says I look like I dropped a bit. I do notice I can breathe a little easier. I'm kinda nrevous. I have the doc on wednesday. Is it ok to wait until then or should I call them sooner about this. I'd appreciate any feed back from women who have been through this before. Thanks!

She bore a child on January 10 to an 8th month old baby, weights 6.5 pounds.. the age of the mother is 33. Is that possible? The baby was never incubated.. The mother insisted it was an 8th month old baby when she gave birth to him. We are not living together.. I just visited her once.. she insist it was my son..he was my son.. what do you think? thanks
