yesterday had a little bit of discharge that was brownish and mucus like. It happened maybe 3 times when I went to the bathroom and hasn't happened again since. It wasn't a lot at all, but enough that it made me concerned. I'm only 32 weeks and I'm not sure what to do or if I should be worried??? Baby is moving a lot. My husband also says I look like I dropped a bit. I do notice I can breathe a little easier. I'm kinda nrevous. I have the doc on wednesday. Is it ok to wait until then or should I call them sooner about this. I'd appreciate any feed back from women who have been through this before. Thanks!

It's not unusual to have some spotting during pregnancy. Just keep an eye on it and if it is EVER red go to the hospital immediately.

It could also have been the beginning of your mucos plug. If it was the whole thing you would know it!!!! Just relax and talk to your doctor on Wed. If you start having contractions go before then, but otherwise it can wait.

Unless you start having regular contractions it can wait. It sounds like bits of your mucous plug but highly unlikely to be ALL of it or you would not doubt what it was LOL It just means you have probably strted to dilate but really THAT is not a reliable indicator of when you will deliver. You can get to as much as 5 cm and walk around that way for weeks.

**edit**I just wanetd to add that your plug can regenerate itself. Just because you lost bits now, dont be suprised when you get closer to your date to see larger amounts of it again.

I started losing mine at 28 weeks. It came out little by little, and I was told it was normal. By 36 weeks my doctor said it was gone, and I didn't have the baby until 38 weeks.

I would call the doctor now and let them know. Chances are if your not having contractions and its stopped you are probably okay. But a doctor should be notified and decide what he thinks is best.
