I had a cseation 5.5 weeks ago. I stopped bleeding and felt back to normal at 4 weeks, and me and my husband decided to have sex. the first time was fine, the 2nd time made me feel really sore around the scare and made me crampy and its been 4 days and I still feel that way and have been getting creamy white discharge in the morning only. I was wondering if this was normal.

Not all doctors advise to wait until 6 weeks. You mainly have to just wait until the bleeding has stopped. Dont forget she had a c-section delivery, so her vagina will still be intact.

I also had sex with my husband as soon as the bleeding had stopped, which was about 4 weeks for me also.

My advice would be to avoid positions that cause him to rub against the scar. Also, if your discharge is quite a lot and maybe you itch a little it could be a yeast infection. Sometimes they can be brought on by having a lot of sex. See a doctor and get a prescription for a yeast infection if you need it.

You could be getting cramps because your period is about to come back. It returns usually within 4-6 weeks after the birth, unless you are breastfeeding.

I don't know, but it was silly to have sex before your Doc gave the Ok- there is a reason they put a 6 week time span on recovering, at least. i'm sorry i don't have an answer, but i felt a need to point out how foolish it was to not follow your doc's orders.

I believe you are still supposed to wait at least 6 weeks before you have sex again. I would ask your OB
