is it true that a female is actually pregnant for 10 monthes not 9????

Depends on how you look at it. If you count in calendar months, then it is 9 months. If you count by lunar months/40 weeks, then it is 10 months.

Sort of. Doctor's use a scale of 40 weeks which starts from the day of your last missed period, which is about 2 weeks before you even conceived.

well its 40 weeks bc the time is estimated from time of conception.go to www.babycenter.com and ask,they will explain it all.
