I'm due March 29th, and will be having my baby shower the first Saturday in February. It gives me enough time to return things, and get what I need before the baby is born. I'll be 32 weeks.

I would have it in early February so she can go through everything she receives and make sure she has everything she needs before the baby gets here. Also, towards the end of the pregnancy she will be getting more uncomfortable and might have a hard time sitting/standing for too long. So early February would be a good time, that way incase she has the baby early then the baby shower will already be over with and she will be prepared.

February 23, 2008 it is the last saturday of February...and it is 1 month exactly bfore u are due..March 23, 2008..i think it is a good idea....mother of 2 boyz ages 8 & 3 years old

My baby is due March 9. I'm having my baby shower on the last Saturday or Sunday in January or the first Saturday or Sunday in February.

I had my baby shower 3 months before my due date. That way you will have a chance to make exchanges and get any things that you may not have gotten at your shower and will still need for your little one.
Once that baby arrives, you will not have the strength or desire to go running around right away :0)

Anytime that is right for you. I would say if you can wait at least a month before your due date. I understand sometimes circumstances change (my baby shower I will only be 18 weeks because of moving out of country) So whenever. Good Luck and Congrats.

Well I'm due April 23, 2008 and I'm hoping to have mine in February. My reasoning is you should wait atleast a month after the holidays so people can start saving their money since they probably spent it all on christmas or whatnot lol. Good Luck!

Around Valentine's Day or shortly after. Towards the end, she may be very uncomfortable and have a hard time sitting at the shower...plus its nice to have the gifts so you can feel settled before the baby comes! And have time to write thank you notes before you start to wake up all night long! LOL

about 6-7 weeks before..just so that there is significant time in case the baby comes early, you'll have taken care of all the baby shower stuff (thank you cards, returning/exchanging gifts, etc)
