very faint line?

i had my period on the 21st of october, i then had unprotected sex on the 3rd, 4th and 10th of november, just took a preg test and from i what i can c it looks like a very faint line, more visable when held up 2 a light, the test i took was clear blue, my period is due on the 21st of nov and i have 31 day cycles, so the question is could i be preg or is it just wishfull thinking ?? forgot to add, my breasts feel heavy and i have been feeling very tired and have been moody of late.can any one eplain

A faint positive is still a positive...
However, you would be very early on if you were pregnant now - and it might not show up on a test just yet.

I would wait till it's closer to your expected period to test again.

I doubt that you saw THE line. When the urine passes over it...it can become a little easier to see. That doesn't always mean it's a positive test.

If your period is due on the 21st....then you would just now be implantating...you couldn't pop a test this soon. According to the WebMD ovulation chart for your cycle....the earliest you could test and get a positive result is the 17th.

Wait 5 more days and retest....hope you get the result you want. But at this time I think it's more wishful thinking than an actual positive test.

I'm four weeks pregnant and when I took my test (clear blue) there was a very faint line...and I was pregnant...it just means your levels aren't high enough to make the lines color show up completely. If you are worried take another test. I would schedule a doctors appointment though. I took it the day before my missed period and went to the doctors the day after my missed period and they said I was pregnant...so you certainly don't need to wait a week but you can if you'd like.

You never have false positives, only false negatives when taking a home pregnancy test. Good luck!

A faint line is still a positive, but if your not due period until 21st Nov, its bit early to do test, even if a Clearblue one, since this is only 12th Nov???? Wait until time period due and do another test. Good luck

i think clear blue are most acurate from 4 days before your period is due at the most. I'm not ruling you being pregnant out it's just i know how it feels to be trying and hoping month after month your pregnant and taking test even though you know its a bit early to tell anyway and then being disappointed. Anyway take another test closer to your period and good luck.

If you're not due on till Nov 21, then it's much, much too early to take a test. It's possible that the line you're seeing is simply the chemical strip that would change colour if you were.
Just be patient, and don't get too excited.

conception could have happend around the 4th, but seems a little early to get a positve on a preg test. i would wait till a little closer to your period due date then re test again. could be promising

Wait a few weeks, and redo another pregnancy test.

The line may be small/thin because its too early.


Give it more time, and I am sure you will be pregnant.

If not, nevermind, there's lots of time!



Wait about 2 weeks and try a few different types of pregnancy tests, like different brands

Definetly take another test. Usually a positive pregnancy test will show up clearly and immediatley.

Most likely ur pregnant. Yeah it is a VERY VERY early positive..but it isn't the first time it happened to anyone.

Take another one in a few days and see if it got darker
