It might just be your uterus stretching and growing to accomadate your growing baby. If you went to the doctor and they checked the baby and everything is A-OK, then just try to relax, take it easy. Sip some water and put your feet up.

The ligaments that will expand to let your baby out later are stretching now. Honestly, I felt "like I was going to die" when I was at that stage. I felt like I was giving birth to the Alien, but after a few weeks that pain went away (hallelujah). and eventually I had a beautiful baby by natural childbirth, Glad you got checked out, but, yeah, you're probably O.K. Hang in there. It's worth it!

I had those pains a few weeks ago, and it turned out to be a UTI which they gave me antibiotics for and after a day or two I felt better. So have your doctor check for that and Good Luck

maybe baby is turning? i remember waking up in the middle of the night around then feeling like my whole intestines and uterus were being ripped, then I had realized she turned. my other friends have had this too. also, maybe baby is on a nerve and when you lie down it presses on it. do you have a body pillow or something to support you in bed. I hated that last trimester in bed I couldn't get comfortable to save my life. I ususally had to sleep on the couch so I could stay propped on one side.

No, you should not be in pain like that. I'm glad your baby is fine but I'd definitely follow up with your doctor. that is not normal. Good luck!

it could be the baby lying in a funny position but if you really are worried go back to the hospital.

You shouldn't be in agony. Perhaps they have missed something at the hospital.

Severe pain is not normal.
Go to your obstetrician.
If you don't have one, get one.
But see a specialist.
Good luck.
