Hello. I would like to know what was it like for some women to give birth at 37 weeks? how was the baby? were u feeling ok? any and everything people can share would be greatly appreciated.

like did or will you use a narcotic? An epidural? and if you know what kind that would be great. If you did it natural, what did you do? What position? breathing? Did any one use water? WERE YOU HAPPY? WHAT WOULD YOU CHANGE?

How many women out there actually got false negatives from the serum test? Does it eventually turn into a positive, and at what time? Is it possible to not have detectable traces of HCG the whole pregnancy?

I'm worried now. I've got a negative blood result come back, but then someone says they know a friend of a friend who popped a baby with negative serum results too.

this is my second child and im on my 11 weeks pregnancy,is it possible that i can give birth w/ a normal delivery when my first delivery is thru a caesarian section because my baby is breech,its been 3 years ago...is it possible?can i give birth thru a normal delivery?could it affect my caesarian surgery?

My c-section was performed because my daughter was badly tangled in her cord causing her heart rate to plummet with each contraction.

I healed beautifully and really want a vaginal birth this time. Please share your personal experiences. I have done extensive research and am well aware of risks/benefits and statistics so please don't paste a big babycenter article. I am interested in your experience.

I got my last period on the 11th. lasted 2 days and was gone. I had unprotected sex bout 6 times yesterday.. condom was only used once.

Ive been smoking about a year ow and all of a sudden Its been making me feel sick, just, tired and dizzy, nautiouse. Im thinking i might be pregnant, but not just because of that, for other reasons to. I know it bad for me and if i am pregnant i will quit rate away and how ive been feeling it may not be that hard. But do you think this could be an extra symptom?

hi my problem is after i had my son 3months ago the found a very small cyst on my ovary which was causing tender pains on just one side and was given antobotics
and just recently am getting those very same pains again but on all my stomach and not as strong but still there.
u think its just my period affecting me or possible cysts playing up again?

I am 33 weeks pregnant and have been having , preterm labor symptoms. My doc did a fetal fibronectin test and the results were
posative .I am wondering how accurate this test is ? The doc never gives me alot of info or details .I don't want to go crazy on bed rest not really knowing what to expect . This is my first pregnancy . Does any one have any experiences they could share with me or know anything about the test ?

I Cant tell what Real contractions are and False ones..Some of my contractions come 3-5 min apart and they hurt and then everynow and then one comes 5-10 min. They all last about a minute and laying down walking around and drinking fluids doesnt make them go away! AND to top it off not EVERY contraction hurts some kill my lower back then some take my breath away and the others are just uncomfortable!! i dont know what to do.. all i know is that they are not going away..

I know that you can not eat it while pregnant or nursing, because the berries are poisionus, but for X-mas I was supposed to be bundling it up in bags to sell.
Is it okay that I handle it, and be around it as far as smelling it?

im not sure if i am......

if i am it is very slow, im not sure if its from leakin urine or if its amniotic fluid.

i have noticed that over the last few days i have been a little wet everytime i go to the toilet, iv also noticed a slight odour (its not a nasty smell, quite sweet or floral if you like)

iv not noticed any odd discharge or anything a long with it, or out of the normal. (just the usual clear stuff).

im probab;y being silly and its just a bit of urine.

i havent lost my mucas plug, well not that iv noticed so can you still leak fluid if you havent lost it, in which case if you cant it must just be urine.

sorry if a bit confusing.

My last period came 1.5 weeks early, lasted 4 days, and was comparatively light (kind of pink). This was 4-5 days after unprotected sex. I'm been having more intense headaches, nausea, have been very exhausted, frequent urination, sensitivity to smells...

So, I went and bought "First response Rapid results" 1 week after my missed period, both tests were negative...
It has now been a week and a half since i was supposed to start my regular period (because my last was early), and I still haven't experienced any PMS symptoms

What's going on?

I had sex with my husband and I always get my period on the 17 of every month. That day (on the 17) when we have sex I went to the bathroom and I started bleeding. But the next day and few days I didnt have signs of bleeding. Is this a sign of pregnancy or period pospone?

Ok i am confused as to how ultrasounds measure the EDD.

My LMP was Sept 13, 2007.
My average cycle is 32 days.


According to this i am getting a due date of June 23rd 08
Making me be 8 weeks 6 Days along.

When i had an ultrasound at about 6 weeks, it showed instead
at about 5 weeks.

Now i had an ultrasound today, where i am showing 8w6d along
and the ultrasound showed me at 7w 5d. About a week behind too.

So here is what i want to know, when you measure your EDD
from your LMP, you in essence include two weeks where there is no baby.
(give or take 2 weeks because some people ovulate later or earlier)
But what does the ultrasound measure? The baby from conception?
or the baby from the last menstrual period?

If the baby is 1 week behind because they dont measure the first two weeks of the period
then i either ovulated earlier or i can add two weeks to that date.
Otherwise it makes no scence to me because then the date of conception is bascially
the same date as when i took ap regnancy test, and i wouldnt show pregnant
on a test on the day of conception, or 1 or two days after it.

So what does an ultrasound measure, form LMP or from Conception?
