I know that you can not eat it while pregnant or nursing, because the berries are poisionus, but for X-mas I was supposed to be bundling it up in bags to sell.
Is it okay that I handle it, and be around it as far as smelling it?

The berries are poisonous, but that isn't the only danger of handing mistletoe.

Mistletoe is actually a fungus. It gives off fungus spores that can be breathed in when you are around it for long periods of time.

If it were me, I would stay away from handing it weather pregnant or not.

I would think so,,,but knowing me-I would wear some gloves...just to be extra careful. You never know how individual's will react to certain things just because most don't.

sweetpar..., isn't mistletoe poisonous? If it is, stay away from it or else your breast milk will turn greenish---lol. Why would you wanna eat it in the first place? Good luck and Happy Hanukkah!!!
